Alberta Goes Full COVID Stasi

 

Alberta, Canada's most conservative province, has gone full COVID Stasi. Starting today, and via Zero:

All Canadians must mask up at work, and any Canadians who can must work from home. Individuals must provide proof of vaccination, or a recent negative test, simply to enter a business - and the unvaccinated will not be permitted to attend any private indoor social gatherings as well.

 

The unvaccinated will not be permitted to attend any private indoor social gatherings. Better stay in your pod, unvaxxed serf and starve, because science. That's not all, the vaxxed are allowed to leave their slave quarters and even enjoy the privilege of "indoor social gatherings,"  but only if ten vaxxed people or less are involved. From Alberta's new "rules on social gatherings":

Vaccinated: Indoor private social gatherings are limited to a single household plus one other household to a maximum of 10 vaccine-eligible, vaccinated people and no restrictions on children under 12.

 

Lucky Albertan children, you're exempt from showing vax papers, for now.  In the meanwhile, who or what got to Jason Kenney, the province's premier. Apparently, in a fit of tragic science, the "health system being overwhelmed" did it. 

Now where have we heard that before. Perhaps you remember the hospital ships and pop-up "Florence Nightingales" which hardly saw a single patient. Then again, keen-eyed readers of this incisive mind blog might remember Obama's maskless birthday party or the equally maskless Met Gala, maskless unless you're a serf, obviously.

Exaltation of The Holy Cross

 

Today's the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and our province of the SSC (Society of the Holy Cross) met for the start of its annual Synod. Things started off with Evening Prayer followed by a Solemn High Mass and I tell you, there wasn't a single guitar playing nun or liturgical dancer in sight. Or a priestess, for that matter. They're not allowed.

Then it was time for dinner and a chance to get together with fellow clergy, what a good group of men. And let's be clear, they're priests and bishops who've stood and continue to stand firm for the Faith in the face of the rainbow apostates who appear to have taken over the Church. But appearances can be deceiving. Christ is King over the Church, his Body, and the Cross is his throne.

We should glory

in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,

for he is our salvation,

our life and our resurrection,

through him we are saved and made free.

Further analysis reveals the clear outline of a full-face mask, prompting insiders to state that the President we all voted for isn't "Honest Joe" but an animated cadaver wearing facial synthskin.

Since March of 2020, we have seen much controversy over COVID, mandates, restrictions, lockdowns, vaccines, and a number of other things. We have watched as this topic has divided families, friends, and coworkers. We have seen an unprecedented amount of division, hate, and contention among Americans. With the rollout of the COVID vaccines, that division has become more and more widened, and the vitriol more intense between those who believe in the vaccines, those who don’t, and those who are undecided.

As law enforcement officers, our first duty and what we swear an oath to, is to support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Arkansas. It is in that defense and the defense of individual liberty that the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office has not, and will not mandate the COVID vaccine for any of our employees. Just like with the flu shot, their choice to get vaccinated or not is theirs and theirs alone, and we respect their decisions.

I am not pro-vaccine, and I am not anti-vaccine. I am pro-freedom, and I am for each person’s ability and responsibility to decide for themselves (in conjunction with their doctor) whether or not to get the vaccine.

I am appalled at some of the absolute dictator-like things we are seeing from the Federal Government, and several of the State Governments. It is absolute tyranny, and completely abhorrent. It flies in the face of everything our country has always stood for, and is only furthering the damage and division done to the people of this wonderful nation.

It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. "Faith without works is dead," says St. James the Apostle, much to the annoyance of Luther who felt the letter an "Epistle of straw." Of course it was, to a former Augustinian friar who held that good works were "like fleas on the skin of a dead dog." Tell us what you really think, Martin.

Still, and Luther aside, we instinctively get what James is telling us. If you believe in something and that belief isn't enacted then it's not worth much, it ain't right. Worse, it starts to take on the sulpherous, pharisaical odor of hypocrisy. And our instinct's not wrong, faith which isn't animated, which doesn't move is dead, immobile. It doesn't "profit."

James drives it home:

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food. And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

 

What doth it profit to be full of belief, such as to move mountains, but be devoid of faith's animating principle, which is love, the Holy Spirit. Benedict XVI puts it well:

Being “just” simply means being with Christ and in Christ. And this suffices. Further observances are no longer necessary. For this reason Luther’s phrase: “faith alone” is true, if it is not opposed to faith in charity, in love. Faith is looking at Christ, entrusting oneself to Christ, being united to Christ, conformed to Christ, to his life. So what's been going on today. To my mind a very moving tribute form the Guards, (Welsh?) at Windsor Castle. Well done. And 45 visited with firefighters, first responders and police in New York, also well done, we love the blue.

Biden, on the other hand, didn't say anything to mark the 20th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks on our country, though he weirdly took off his mask to shout at someone at the 9/11 memorial event. Not well done, but his VP spoke out against, you guessed it, Americans. Because Islamophobic racism. How very appropriate.

Deep State Bush got in the action too, denouncing evil, "extremist" Americans; NWO Bush thinks they're "noxious" and share the same "spirit" as the 9/11 Muslim terrorists. Interesting, and where's that going to stop. KZ, anyone? 

Further north, in the land of the ice and snow, Canada's Justine Trudeau took a leaf out of Kamala Harris' book and warned against the evils of "Islamophobia." Like really, what's to be afraid of? Just crazed jihadists flying planes into buildings and killing thousands of people.

Hungary's Viktor Orban, on the other hand, told the world that 9/11 proved that Christian civilization's something we have to "fight for every day." Well said, that man. And here's the thing.

You'd have thought that the governance of our country would be able to marshal a dignified, unifying, national tribute to those who lost their lives 20 years ago, and honor the men and women who have fought, for two decades, to right that wrong. Windsor Castle managed it well, on a small scale. You'd think we could do that here, in a big way. But no.

Our remarkably, historically, most votes ever, popular president figure didn't say a thing and his vice attacked Americans, along with Illuminati Bush. We can't even id the enemy. But what am I saying, we're arming them.

Fish On

 

The sky was beginning to lighten as I got to the marina, in search of piscine adventure. "G'morning, gentlemen," and then we were motoring out into the lake as the sun began to rise.

Beautiful, and a moment of anticipation, would we catch any fish? It's not a given and there, right from the get go, lies a moral; just because you're on a boat doesn't mean you'll catch anything.

Belay that lure...

That in mind, we'd rigged up for topwater because intel said young, ferocious striper were blitzing surface shad. And sure enough, there against the bluffs was line of spray, a frenzy of fish exploding out of the water.

Young but Fierce

Power over and look at that water boil! But not for long, there's no time to waste. Line out, zig-zag retrieve then bam, down goes your lure and it's game on, a fighting striper on a light rod bent double. Big fun and fast action, which went on as we tracked the fish across the lake. I lost count.

What great fishing! OK, the stripers weren't fully grown, only around 16-18" but still,  full of aggression and predatory fury; they went back to fight again another day. It'll be a different story in the Spring when they've reached leviathan status.

Mission accomplished, we headed back to the marina, well satisfied with a morning out on the water. And here's the thing. Just because you're on a boat may not mean you'll catch any fish, but it can help. Thanks, J, for the trip.

Labor Day

 

Labor Day started off well, on the porch and armed with a strong survivalist 20 oz. tumbler of coffee. Well, you can't be too prepared for the apocalypse. Bacon and eggs followed because workers have to eat and eat well, which we did before heading out to Killeen and the home of Phantom Lethal!

I won't lie, it was a nasty drive, especially through Waco where the road becomes a bumper to bumper, Armageddon car Hell. "Can't you hitch a ride on a passing Blackhawk, kid? Heck, they're giving 'em away. Or what about an autogyro or a Fiesler Storch, it'd be easier than this." He didn't think it'd be possible, annoyingly.

But speaking of Hell, have you noticed how the satanists are furiously in favor of killing more Texan babies? The same applies to Democrats at large, who've made abortion a kind of anti-sacrament, an outward and visible sign of Promethean, demonic, lethal pride hiding under the pretense of compassion. In related news, the despicable Fauci's worried about a "Mu Variant." You can imagine the fabled lost continent rising from Pacific depths to afflict us with its wickedness. And why not, surely anything's possible at this point, from arming the Taliban to one of our political party's being in open alliance with satanists.

Sunday Rambling

 

In some dioceses the bishop's visitation is a terrible thing, a nightmare. There you are when some unspeakable old heretic tips up with a view to destroying everything you believe in. Thank God it's not that way in the Diocese of Fort Worth. Our bishops stand firm for the Faith, they're successors of the Apostles as opposed to wicked mountebanks in the pay of Rainbow Baphomet.

So today was good, our bishop came, sung the Mass and preached, what a blessing. The Specialist even came down from Fort Hood to swing some incense, well done. Curiously, everyone in the sanctuary party was either former or active duty or involved in pro rodeo. Clearly a moral, if you care to draw it.

Then we fell back to the church hall for a delicious lunch, the mission eats well, and a good time was had by all. What a lot of fun, and I tell you, it's a real blessing to be in this diocese. 

Is it perfect? No. Should we be part of the wider Catholic Church, East and West? Yes. But so too should Rome and Constantinople be as one and, of course, the broken shards of the catholic mirror are one, essentially, in terms of faith, to say nothing of deeper sacramental union. 

Ut unum sint, may they all be one, prayed Christ. Do you think the Father somehow chose to ignore His Son's prayer? Hardly. The Mystici Corporis, the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church, is one by nature or essence. The unity is there; that we've wrecked it, in worldly terms, with competing jurisdictions and associated wickedness is, frankly, the Devil's work. 

My take, for what little it's worth, is that it'll take real persecution to bring about the outward and visible unity which strengthens the inward and spiritual. After all, it's in the Good Book, "Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved."

Apocalypse aside, what a great day.

Shack Down

 

There it was on the corner of Crack and Meth, a shack. I used to drive by the shack and point it out to the Cadet, "Play your cards right, son, and you too could live there." But not anymore, the shack has gone, reduced to a small pile of inconsequential debris in this once prosperous farming community.

And it was prosperous, complete with shops, businesses and 20,000 people. All on a walkable, human scale too. You know the score or perhaps you've read about it, being able to walk around your town saying hello to friends and avoiding enemies, perhaps shooting the latter in this instance. Hey, it was the frontier.

Then the asset-strippers took over, King Cotton moved overseas and the town hollowed out as the socio/psychopaths in charge of the way we live now decided to turn our towns and cities into roads. What would you rather live in, a city or a road? Asked no one, not waiting for an answer.

Net result? Shacks, which are returning to nature. Imagine, if you can, how that'll play out in our vast suburbs over the course of the next few decades. Think Detroit on a continental scale. But maybe there's hope, maybe we'll turn this thing around and start living, approximately, as we should.

Who knows. Next time you drive into any one of our Mega Cities, look at the landscape to either side of the highway and ask, "Could we do any better? Or is there some kind of law that says, 'No, you have to create the ugliest possible environment to live in, otherwise you won't be so rich.'"

Demonic, eh? In the meanwhile, I thank  God I'm in the country, shacks and all.

Note this, the people who want us to kill moar babies are the very same devil worshipers who abandoned our people in Afghanistan, and spent Trillion$ killing hundreds of thousands of people in wars which we've consistently lost.  Is there a connection? 

Of course there is. People who will kill babies will kill anyone, their moral compass is gone, kaput, while their bank accounts swell with blood money.

Texas, meanwhile, has said no to these satans. Let's see that continue.
