The land of the ice and snow, aka Canada, which means getting up at an unearthly hour tomorrow and venturing forth to DFW and the joy of modern air travel. What will Alberta be like? Will you still be able to pay with cash, will there be giant billboards of Justine Trudeau staring down at you from Orwellian rainbow hoardings?

And I tell you, it's been a few years since I've been there, not since the deadliest plague to lockdown humanity in the history of deadliest plagues. That's passed over now, leaving 99.9% of the populace alive, so let's see what's left of Calgary, Alberta, in the aftermath of the horror.

The War On Cash

 

Everyone knows Cash is King but what happens when the Man comes around and bans it? So what, you say, gleefully tapping your cheery little plastic digital id on the nearest Starbucks payment scanner. So what? So a lot.

Say, by way of wild conjecture, that you're a Canadian trucker who protests against the government in Ottawa, which is a kind of town in Ontario. The government doesn't like this and tells your bank to freeze your account. Hey presto, all of a sudden that happy little card doesn't work any more and guess what, you can't buy anything. No, don't even think of cashing your paycheck because you can't, there is no cash. Look at you, unperson.

Again, try to imagine a scenario in which you're a political figure in England, say, Nigel Farage, and you're saying things against the ruling political class, let's call it the Uniparty. How very brave. Sorry, buddy, Coutts & Co. have debanked you and good luck paying for anything with all the paper you've hidden under the mattress, traitor.

You get the point, whether you agree with the truckers, Farage or anyone else, and the point is this: A cashless society opens the way to tyranny and it's just a step away from CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) in which all your spending is under government scrutiny. Of course we all know that'll be utterly benign.

On point, I was shocked last time I was in London (UK, not Ontario) to see how hard it was to purchase anything with cash. Notable exceptions were Cordings in Piccadilly, who loved it, and a  coffee stand outside Embankment station, Blues and Royals, I think. More shocking still was the reaction of some of my friends, erstwhile and present anarchists no less, they didn't seem to see the issue. Scotland was better, but still.

I tell you, we're sleepwalking into something bad here, a tyrannous digital cattle pen. Perhaps Texas needs to issue its own gold backed currency by way of leading the world to freedom and fiscal sanity?

The “Covid pandemic” narrative is insane. That is long-established at this point, we don’t really need to go into how or why here. Read our back catalogue.

The rules are meaningless and arbitrary, the messaging contradictory, the very premise nonsensical.

Every day some new insanity is launched out into the world, and while many of us roll our eyes, raise our voices, or just laugh…many more accept it, believe it, allow it to continue.

Take the situation in Canada right now, where the government has enforced a vaccine mandate on healthcare workers, meaning in British Columbia alone over 3000 hospital staff were on unpaid leave by November 1st.

How have local governments responded to staff shortages?

They are asking vaccinated employees who have tested positive for Covid to work.

Whether or not you believe the test means anything, they notionally do. In the reality they try to sell us every day, testing positive means you are carrying a dangerous disease.

So they are requesting people allegedly carrying a “deadly virus” work, rather than letting perfectly healthy unvaccinated people simply have their jobs back.

This is insanity.

Yes it is. People who have rebelled against truth, ultimately against God, insist you must too. Therein lies power, the exercise of arbitrary will enforced by strength, and the more the demonic merrier. This rule makes no sense at all, but you must obey it to the erasure of your god-given reason and ultimately his image itself. To put it another way, all that makes you human.

And that's the goal, to turn you, the serf, into a slave beast. Beyond that, to destroy. Culture, art, literature, the family, architecture, music, gender itself, who we are as human beings in the image of God, all this has to go, borne down in a torrent of lies.

Lies? We know their Father and we also know that the gates of Hell shall not prevail. My advice? Get on the winning team.

No Vax End Point Serfs

People who fail to continually get vaccinated will face the same fate as those who have continued to resist compulsory shots, they’ll be out of work, face social ostracization and God only knows what else in the future.

Enjoy your lifetime booster shots and enjoy not being able to travel, visit a restaurant or eventually go in a shop if you miss out on just one.

Remember, if you don’t take the Pfizer jab for life, you’ll never be “fully vaccinated”.

Since March of 2020, we have seen much controversy over COVID, mandates, restrictions, lockdowns, vaccines, and a number of other things. We have watched as this topic has divided families, friends, and coworkers. We have seen an unprecedented amount of division, hate, and contention among Americans. With the rollout of the COVID vaccines, that division has become more and more widened, and the vitriol more intense between those who believe in the vaccines, those who don’t, and those who are undecided.

As law enforcement officers, our first duty and what we swear an oath to, is to support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Arkansas. It is in that defense and the defense of individual liberty that the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office has not, and will not mandate the COVID vaccine for any of our employees. Just like with the flu shot, their choice to get vaccinated or not is theirs and theirs alone, and we respect their decisions.

I am not pro-vaccine, and I am not anti-vaccine. I am pro-freedom, and I am for each person’s ability and responsibility to decide for themselves (in conjunction with their doctor) whether or not to get the vaccine.

I am appalled at some of the absolute dictator-like things we are seeing from the Federal Government, and several of the State Governments. It is absolute tyranny, and completely abhorrent. It flies in the face of everything our country has always stood for, and is only furthering the damage and division done to the people of this wonderful nation.

CS Lewis said this: “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

It's time for our politicians and other public servants to stand up and remember that their first responsibility is to protect people’s rights, not to run their lives.

Ethnomath - Dismantling Racism in Maths Instruction

 

Is all well with US public school mathematics? Hardly, our kids crossed the finish line in 38th place among developed countries in 2018. Not good at all, but help's on the way, at least in Oregon where the Department of Education's addressing the heart of the problem, racism.

That's right, racism, which is why the Beaver State's teachers are being encouraged to take a course entitled, "A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction: Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instruction." Yes indeed, no wonder our kids' test scores are almost on a par with Zimbabwe's, it's all because of "white supremacy." But don't take my word for it, here's the course description:

"White supremacy culture infiltrates math classrooms in everyday teacher actions. Coupled with the beliefs that underlie these actions, they perpetuate educational harm on Black, Latinx, and multilingual students, denying them full access to the world of mathematics."

Leaving aside "Latinx," which no one south of the border actually uses, the defenders of "ethnomath" continue. Thanks to "white supremacy" educators fallaciously impose objective standards of right and wrong on their oppressed charges:

"This reinforces the idea that there is only one right way to do math. The history of mathematics, its colonization, and what is deemed as 'acceptable' knowledge is rich and complex, therefore, the way that mathematics is taught in the United States needs to be interrogated because it currently centers Western, Eurocentric ways of processing and knowing information."

Only one right way to do math? Thanks a lot, Cecil "Rhodes." No, there is no such thing as objective truth in mathematics, such racism:

"The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so... Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity as well as fear of open conflict."

Objectivity's unequivocally false, says the subjectivist making an incoherent universal truth claim. No matter, we make the rules now and you'd better buckle under or taste the stainless steel blade of liberal Fascism, or would that be Bolshevik tyranny? Regardless, as our man on the ground in Georgia comments, "Hopefully they'll use ethnomathematics for bridge building and such."

You'll note that Satan is the Father of Lies and a murderer from the beginning. Not least of our children's education.

This seems appropriate right about now. And here at the Compound we wonder if Big Tech trying to ban people who disagree with you is somehow "progressive." Like wow, "I'm a socialist, that's why I support Silicon Valley billionaires telling everyone what to think." Absurd ain't in it and you'd think they'd recall the Bolshevik revolution eating its own, but no, history's not taught anymore, and neither is truth.

Without that, an objective standard of reality you conform to or don't, the accordance of mind to thing, you're left with what? Opinion and its enforcement, with the exercise of power unchained from any external constraint. Or to put it another way, with an unchecked lust for power, and we've seen the results. The Nazi KZs, Russia's Gulags, Cambodia's Killing Fields, and on. In short, with the mass slaughter of the 20th Century. 

I pray that this utter evil isn't heading our way, though it seems close and perhaps we're already in it. How many babies are killed in the womb, every minute of every day? Ask yourself, what will a people or nation which condones such a thing not do?

The Sun Sets on The Rule of Law

I'm no expert, but people say that the Law can be pretty opaque at times. For example, how do you work out the Law of Bass (LOB) on the Big Pond when the temperature climbs into triple digits? Team LSP's been putting some effort into that lately and we haven't cracked the Codex yet, but we will, it's not over yet. Then there's the FBI and Hillary. Here's what our East Coast Legal Expert (ECLE) has to say:

The aspect of this whole mess that really gets my goat is that every first year law student is taught about mens rea (intent) for criminal law and the difference in laws between crimes requiring a specific mens rea (intentional murder, rape), lower mens rea (manslaughter - only needs reckless actions) and those that don't (strict liability crimes (ex. statutory rape, speeding, etc.). The statute in this debacle specifically calls for a "gross negligence" standard in order for the statute to be broken. Her extreme carelessness definitely qualifies to meet this standard. Comey's assertion that she didn't have intent and therefore he wasn't recommending charges is completely at odds with the law. Again, any first year law student who was given this question on an exam and didn't prosecute would fail. This is Law 101. Either Comey was bought off or he didn't want to end up like Vince Foster. Or it's just one more nail in the legal/judicial coffin that we've experienced under Obama (Supreme Court decisions uphold Obamacare, gay marriage, etc.).
