Lee Speed

You may scoff and wag your heads saying "Lsp is a fool," and that's as maybe, but I do have a liking for Lee Enfield rifles. That's partly nostalgia, they were a part of my youth, and partly because they're cool, especially the early sporter Lee Speeds.

Safari sights, elegant wood, hand checkering, the redoubtable and smooth as silk Lee action all combine together to make a beautiful weapon at a fraction of the cost of an equivalent Mauser. And guess what, the rifle has that Edwardian awesomeness we all love. God save the Tzar King. Result.

That in mind, I put in a call to a pal, "Hey, you're kinda in the business. Can you find me a Lee Speed? It must work, not interested in a wall hanger." Which brings us back to art philosophy.

Guns are works of art, good or bad, the Lee Speed being good. But their potential, as such, is only realized in their use, fulfilling the end or τέλος for which they were designed. Parse that as you will.

OK, discussion of matter, potential and act over, I won't be shooting majestic Lions or furious Cape Buffalo with my Speed, more's the pity. But exercising ballistic Edwardiana against paper's no bad thing either, to say nothing of unexpected targets of opportunity.

Don't brake for Communists, readers, all two of you.

The Sheer Talent of Yoko And Everything Else

Have you listened to the genius of Yoko? She married John Lennon and broke up the Beatles. No, not the ISIS execution squad, but the lovable mop tops from Liverpool who helped define the way we live now.  And what is this way, what's its hallmark?

Abortion at the point of birth, apparently that's OK. People losing their jobs for saying men aren't women because "not hate"? Tick. Sanctifying drug dealing, thug, rapist criminals in the name of civil rights? Rock on. Borders, to a country? How very, very Nazi.

One solutions provider put it well this morning. "LSP, when you get to the point of ripping babies out of the womb at nine months then there's no lid, no cover." Anything goes at that point, there's no longer a moral or ethical boundary beyond self-will.

Hell with the lid off? Let's see how far it goes before God decides to call it a wrap. In the meanwhile, check out Ono's #MillSoc musical talent. Then there's Markle, the People's Princess.

Art Philosophy - Cars

"Hey, LSP, can you help me out? I need to go to Fort Worth today for a procedure and need a driver." It was my EMU friend who's famous for driving a crew of motorcycle hippies out of his stock tank. "Sure, I'd be happy to help out."

Quite.

So off we went, all the way down I35W to Fort Worth's Southside. It's not too far from downtown and owned by the medical and hospitality industry. All kinds of hipster bars and eateries, which I toured while my friend was under. Did I stop in any? No. I did not.

Procedure over, we drove back to the country and my friend's barn, "Hey, LSP, have a look at these." Curious, I went through a doorway and there were these cars.

A '40(?) Ford Coupe, a '69 Chevy Camino SS, an '81 Corvette and another Ford Coupe, V8 and hotrod, immaculate. "Don't touch, LSP."

I was amazed  and laughed. "Is that a good laugh or a bad laugh, LSP?" It was good, and would it be OK to take some photos? "Sure thing," so I did. Who knew, certainly not me, that here in this Texan barn was a collection of cars, like works of art.

But what was the reason behind the collection, apart from the sheer good of the things in themselves? Why these as opposed to others?

Simple answer. They were the cars of his youth, after he'd left the Forces and two tours in Vietnam. He loved them then and decided to collect them now. I'll leave you to parse this not insignificant art philosophy.

Boy's Alright

Hadn't spoken with the Private for a while and Mama LSP was a bit worried, "How's he doing?!?" sort of thing. Probably well, I assured her, suggesting no news is good news. And so perhaps it is; the kid's doing fine, taking courses and getting the most out of the Army so far. Well done. Fit to fight.

Other children take a different course, they want to stick it to the Man because they're revolutionaries and hope to bring about an Anarcho-Communist utopia. It's a beautiful vision, playing out right now in real time in Kentucky. But what's gonna happen when push comes to shove?

I'll cut to the chase. One section of one one platoon would sort out our Marxist friends in about as many seconds as it'd take to say the Biden crime family's corrupt as hell. And don't think for a moment that the rank and file aren't ready to move from safe to fire.

Or do. Give it a go and find out. Regardless, the kid's enjoying S. Korea and levelling up. Well done.

Love,

Gotta Love The Beatles

Well no, not really, especially when the lovable moptops are a couple of murdering, head chopping Moslem savages. That'd be El-Shafee El-Sheikh and Alexanda Kotey, two members of the unholy war execution squad which specialized in cutting off the heads of aid workers and journalists.

These two murderous savages were captured in Iraq in 2018 and a massive legal battle ensued. Should the two Beatles ("Beatles" -- they were from England)  be sent to America for trial and sentencing or segue to the UK, where sensitivity training and rainbow pony therapy sessions would rehabilitate the psychotic, deranged, and possibly possessed by Satan Moslems.

The argument, from UK rainbow leftist lawyers was this. If the head chopper Beatles get extradited to the US they'll get the death penalty. OMG, how inhumane. How could anyone be so barbaric and cruel as to execute people who sawed the heads off of aid workers? You know, with their knives.

So, in a bizarre fit of caritas, the US DOJ promised it wouldn't execute the Beatles. No Helter Skelter for them, just SuperMax hi-jinx for the rest of their lives. Or worse, maybe the merry Butlins that is Gitmo.

I know, the Gospel demands charity. And in this instance I'd argue execution's the better course. Feel free to disagree, there's no rule. But in the reflection, how did the Beatles become so evil, was it innate or learned?

My call is that people are tempted by Satan and run with it, with bestial, murderous result.

Melania is Very Awesome

This is Melania, America's popular and glamorous catholic First Lady.

Melania speaks five languages and used to be a model. She loves our troops.

And they love her. She's the honorary Colonel of many regiments.

Others aren't. Do you think Melania could ever be mistaken for a man?

That is all,

Elder Abuse and a Short Sermon

This is Joe Biden campaigning in Wisconsin today. His mask is upside down and inside out. As we reflect on this unsettling parable of elder abuse, here's Kim Klacik's latest:

Wow, you cared about black lives more than our own Democrat leaders. People like Joe, Hillary, Obama and the grand author of the welfare plantation himself, LBJ. To say nothing of their GOP partners in crime.

Picture the massive sums of money they've made at the expense of the people they pretended and still pretend to serve; the mansions, jets, servants, the sheer power of the thing.

With this in mind, do you remember the words of Christ?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

 Again:

The devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Good luck Kim,

Your Friend,

Mantid Takeover

Do aliens live among us? Technologically advanced creatures from another star or dimension which have the ability to appear human but are, in fact, extraterrestrials? Could they be hiding in plain sight?

What's their agenda; power, wealth, world domination and the enslavement of humanity? The gradual replacement of mankind with a race of freakish hybrids, drones of the hive mind collective which slavishly do their off-world rulers' bidding?

Are they present in the very institutions we hold dear? The Armed Forces, our revered political class, media and entertainment industry? Even Hollywood itself may not be exempt. To say nothing of our financial institutions, perhaps you remember Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

Some say aliens, Mantis People or Mantids, can even be found at the highest levels of our Holy Mother the Church, where they subvert and twist the Gospel for their own purple-robed, insectoid ends.

Here at the Compound we reached out to Lambeth Palace for comment, but spokespyrsxns for Archbishop Justsin Welby refused to return our calls.

Were they too busy purging systemic racism, tearing down statues, and creating gender neutral safe spaces for once innocent CoE students?

Possibly. Never forget, Mantids do not think as we do.

Ad Astra,

Matrix of Oppression

Take note, heterosexual, male, able bodied, adult, catholic or protestant white people, oppression's terrible thing. A matrix of evil.

Or perhaps a coin. With that in mind, I present...

Hillary Clinton, who may or may not be possessed by Satan along with the party which advocates at birth abortion.

Don't say Benghazi, Haiti or Moloch.

A Constitutional

Leftist heads are exploding across the universe at the prospect of a new Supreme Court Justice to replace Ginsburg. But the mighty Brazos flows on, oblivious to the dying wish of America's iconic  expert on the South African constitution.

Still, the bluffs at the lake stood strong, though the water was high. Higher still and higher until the dam lets out. Not dissimilar, when you think about it, to the pent up fury of the Democrats who stand to see their revolution thwarted by yet another SCOTUS pick.

But that's the point of it all, elections have consequences and there's nothing in the Constitution which says a President can't nominate someone to fill a Supreme Court vacancy in an election year. Rage, froth, and foam all you like while your head explodes, it just isn't there.

So who's the candidate, Amy Barrett? Ted Cruz? Let's see how the deal goes down, but we don't know yet, and neither did the ducks who happily fought for food along the bank. In a few months they might be targets, but not now, right now our target's the Supreme Court and flattening the Marxist curve for decades.

Yes, decades. In the meanwhile, all hail Texas.

Come and take it,

Art Philosophy

The many art philosophers who read this might disagree, but I find these three stele from Saudi Arabia strangely disturbing. They're radically different, what was in the mind of the makers? We don't know, their culture and thought is lost to us.

They date, apparently, from the fourth millennium BC, but notice their similarity to this statue, Urfa Man, found near Gobekli Tepe, and some 7000 years older:

Some suggest a continuity and there is, to my mind, a resemblance. Does this indicate i. that the Saudi Arabian stele are far older than their given date and/or ii. the existence of a comparatively homogenous culture in the Middle East circa 11,000-4,000 BC?

Possibly, though arch[a]eologists would roll their eyes, snort into their lattes and polish off their BLM figurines before making such wild claims. Regardless, look at this. Again, from Gobekli Tepe:

Here it is in full:

You'll note the position of the hands and possible parallels to Moai on Easter Island. But consider the Shigir idol, carved from wood that's over 11,000 years old. The oldest wooden sculpture we know of in existence and contemporary with Gobekli Tepe.

With Shigir we find ourselves back where we started, with something ancient, unsettling and very different to the way we live now. Perhaps it's just me, but I sense human sacrifice; unholy offerings on the altars of strange gods under the implacable movement of the stars.

That said, I'm furious that the pinko, dropped-on-head-as-infant, ComSymp SJW in charge of Oxford's Pitt Rivers museum has cancelled their immemorial display of shrunken heads. Why? Because they're racist. Wow. Nothing quite like erasing history, commie. More on this latest leftist excrescence later.

Yet More Signs

Signs are appearing in this small Texan farming community.

Trump signs, everywhere.

And that's interesting because this town is traditionally Democrat. It has been since the Civil War, when the county raised a brigade of cavalry to fight for the Cause.

So what's happened. Could it be that people aren't impressed by four years of "Trump's a Russian agent!", the Mueller hit job, Kavanaugh frenzy, impeachment and now the spectacle of BLM Marxists and their anarchist friends burning down Democrat cities?

In short, maybe the hysterical, media-backed, ongoing coup attempt by a party which couldn't accept the fact of its own defeat doesn't sit well with people.

Who knows, perhaps being told by the Left that America's inherently evil isn't a vote grabber in this town. As in Look at you, you're white, you Nazi, so you'd better repent or we'll burn down your house and loot the supermarket. That's why you have to vote for us. Uh huh.

That in mind, there weren't any Trump signs here in 2016, or very, very few, and that's changed.

Let's see a landslide in November.

A Sign

Ma LSP's asking if it's alright to put this sign up in her Dallas neighborhood. I said yes but the question's rhetorical, sign's up. The libs in her gayborhood, Winnetka Heights, let the reader understand, will snarl, gnash their teeth and curse.

If needs be, I'll drive in from the country, sit on the porch with a .45 and a 12 and guard the sign from the enemy. But note to the signers.

Science isn't God? No, not fake science, but the real deal, taken to perfection; knowledge personified and necessary. Different story, surely.

And I nearly forgot, follow @LoneStarParson on twitter. Same story, different platform.

Aaaand They're Satanists

 Patrisse

Well maybe not, just necromancers, channeling the spirits and powers of the dead. This is Patrisse Cullors, one of BLM's three founders in a video call with Melina Abdulla, LA BLM chapter founder:

At its core, it’s a spiritual movement. You can’t pretend like that work is just organizing work. That’s, you know, that’s some serious stuff.
When we say the names, right, so we speak their names, we say her name, say their names, we do that all the time that, you kind of invoke that spirit, and then those spirits actually become present with you.

Cullors' comments on necromancy followed Abdulla's:

Maybe I’m sharing too much, but we’ve become very intimate with the spirits that we call on regularly, right. Like, each of them seems to have a different presence and personality, you know. I laugh a lot with Wakisha, you know. And I didn’t meet her in her body, right, I met her through this work.

She went on to emphasize the importance of invoking spirits, referencing popular BLM name chanting:

Gross

When we say the names, right, so we speak their names, we say her name, say their names, we do that all the time that, you kind of invoke that spirit, and then those spirits actually become present with you.
Spirituality is at the center of Black Lives Matter, and I think that’s not just for us, I feel like so many, um, leaders and so many organizers, um, are deeply engaged and in a pretty, um, important spiritual practice.

Cullors, Abdulla and how many others are practitioners of Ifa, West African Yoruba ancestor worship, with an emphasis on spirit possession and associated divination. You know, tell the future with the help of your dead spirit friend.

I tell you, this fight is against principalities and powers, and the Devil, like a roaring and ramping lion prowls, seeking whom he may devour.

Runway Model

Nigerian friends tell me Christianity is this remarkable thing, freeing them from the dead hand of their ancestral demons. Think, Western Man, sorry, pyrsxn, of your fate had Ygdrasil not been chopped down.

Hey, it's all a great Afro larf 'til Orisha's gnawing on your buddy's shin bone. Don't say Tayo.
