It's raining, and thunder booms out like Russian guns on the Aleppo front. There's lightning, too; we may thank God that it's not cluster munitions breaking over the Compound. So far our common adversary, The Weather, hasn't deployed the full range of its deadly arsenal.
But we stand ready, cleaning weapons, loading magazines, tightening kit and idly sticking pins in Jefferts Schori dolls.
Voodoo? That's as maybe. Stand resolute against the enemy.
Rumors that this irregular cavalry unit is investing in waterborne assault craft may or may not be true.

I'm sure that if you unlimber the AAA, and fire guns into the clouds in furtherance of the war on the weather, that you'd prevail and it would rain somewhere else. If the US Military can engage in war on weather, you should be able to as well. The DLC Riverine force will be engaging both in a war on flooding and in the ocean, in a war against waves as we try to join in with the national narrative.
We're nothing if not TEAM PLAYERS. Ahem.
I'm trying to get some federal funding in... I'd like to get a federal grant from the ObamaNation for DLC management to discover the effect of waves on small boats in Tahiti and Bora Bora. I suspect that it will take up to a year to conclude our studies.
I think some product testing is definitely in order.
