I read your blog with avid interest. It is always worthwhile to stop here. I am surprised to see "shaitan" in this column You are the first non-Indian I've known to use it.
I must be the second reader, no, there are probably thousands but are just the strong quiet types.
There are no "good guys" in this mess. Yes Russia invaded Ukraine but there was a huge amount of pressure to do that since the US and other NATO allies did not keep their word that NATO would not move east. Over the last two decades the alliance has moved east several times and now Russia's buffer zone is just about gone. Russia isn't blameless either, like I said, no good guys.
