Dear Prudence

How very awesome!

Prudence in mind, this kebab stand on the information superhighway stands 100% with our brothers and sisters in Ottawa. Go Truckers, stand steady and hold the line for freedom against the demonic GloboCorp Left and their bought and paid for puppets in Parliament/White House.

Dark Star Tactical

Here's the thing. Christmas at the Compound usually means saying the Masses and then driving to Ma LSP's on Christmas day to celebrate with friends and family. Big fun, but it's in Dallas so I put up lights and don't get a tree, the tree's in D.

This year's different. The eldest's coming in from Fort Hood and we figured we'd spend Christmas together, so I got a tree, at Walmart. It's a ferocious little beast and in tribute to the profession of arms comes with a tactical, dark star. After all, it'd be wrong to give your position away with a sparkly, glittery ornament. They can have that in Dallas.

In other news, we apparently live in an age of mind-bending deceit, chicanery, croneyism, malfeasance, tyranny and godless corruption, of egotistical, psychopathic power masquerading as compassion. But don't despair, instead, with Mary, sing out:

MY soul doth magnify the Lord, * and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
For he hath regarded * the lowliness of his handmaiden.
For behold, from henceforth * all generations shall call me blessed.
For he that is mighty hath magnified me; * and holy is his Name.
And his mercy is on them that fear him * throughout all generations.
He hath showed strength with his arm; * he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He hath put down the mighty from their seat, * and hath exalted the humble and meek.
He hath filled the hungry with good things; * and the rich he hath sent empty away.
He remembering his mercy hath holpen his servant Israel; * as he promised to our forefathers,
Abraham and his seed, for ever.

Why? Because the Almighty is in our midst, in our womb if you like, and salvation, redemption and glory is at hand. As the Apostle tells us, "rejoice, again I say rejoice," as does Mary and as should we. The proud, the mighty, the rich? Scattered, cast down, sent empty away, their seemingly invincible force dissolved as smoke before the wind. Take heart.

Bob Weir's Shorts - Warning Graphic

You Were Warned

What is it with Bob Weir's shorts? I texted a musical friend to find out. "Hey fella, you know I'm a big fan of the Dead but what's with BOB WEIR'S SHORTS? Here, look at this."

Wow. See those shorts?

He did, "That's wrong and he knows it." Here at the Compound we agree. Yes, all wrong, but why did pop icon, alt celebrity superstar "Bob" go down this path.

Not good, Bob, not good at all

Was he deliberately trying to strike people blind or was he maybe somehow "confused"? After all, it didn't have to be this way; Weir's perfectly capable of playing in long trousers. Check it out, it's possible:

Let's hope he sticks to it.

Cheers,

Years ago some fool said "I thought the Grateful Dead would be cool, but they were just Country and Western."

Yes, fool.

Juke Box Mondays

Here we are, back at Juke Box Mondays with the good ole Grateful Dead. "I love the Dead!" exclaimed no girlfriend ever. And by popular demand, and it's just that, popular demand, here's Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

But Jim wants Wanda, so here she is.

And RHT is urgent. Let's hear it for Foreigner.

But what's this?!? Hocus Pocus by Focus?!? Travel back in time and behold the fretboard glory of it all.

Then there's Heart of Glass, which we love. A Lot. Ignore the band.

Cheers, requests open,

Every Gun is a Loaded Gun

After celebrating the great Feast of Pentecost on Sunday it seemed right to go fishing on Monday. That was the plan and let me tell you, I was looking forward to it. But no, our Old Enemy the Weather attacked and skywater poured down from heaven as thunder rolled across the firmament like the guns of Vimy Ridge. (What? Ed.)

Seriously, it got stormy so fishing was off and looking out on the flooded vista of this rural Texan farming community from the safety of the porch was on. "Will this war ever end?" I asked myself over a steaming Yeti 20 oz tumbler of coffee, and just then a local magnate rolled up to the front of the Compound in his rig.

We visited for a while and discussed the chicanery of our times. "How many of our beloved leaders, Mr. M, do you think are involved in ritual occult satanism? I say this as a religious professional." He paused and fixed me with a clear hunter's eye, "I'd reckon more than we might like to know." I agreed, "I'm not a gambling man but if I was I lay odds on."

The upshot of it all was this: The psychosociopaths in control of the West hate the Church and want to stamp it out and secondly, he'd send his crew to clean up the church grounds as soon as the climate changed. What a good result, and he's been an ally over the years, not least in terms of range access.

In other news, it seems the UK's famous BLM celebrity blacktivist, Sasha, got herself shot in the head in South London the other day. Which is weird, because guns aren't allowed in England. My take? Oxford educated Sasha decided to hang out with the real deal, and one of the gangstas bizarrely forgot trigger/muzzle discipline. Oops.

Remember, gentlemen and women, every gun is a loaded gun.

Playing in the Band

Here at the Compound we play requests, and here's one, Playing in the Band, by the indomitable Dead. That said, are you on the bus or not? The bus being your chance to #StopTheSteal. #Jan6.

Your call, be a serf, or not,

China Doll

Just a brief musical interlude in the midst of making tortillas. China doll fractured? Buck up! I'd be surprised if patriots would let this country be taken over by the dam CCP. Of course that remains to be seen.

Shakedown Street - State of the Republic

What are we, a constitutional republic, or something else, a banana republic nation run by a gang of self-serving, millionaire thieves? Like hey, go ahead and vote and then we'll shake you down.

Have you noticed how hundreds of thousands of votes miraculously appeared for the worst presidential candidate in living memory after polling stations closed? Forgive the rhetoric, of course you have. Wow, what a miracle. Biden, who couldn't draw crowds of more than 12 people suddenly becomes the most popular candidate in history.

We knew it would happen, the Bolsheviks and their corporate paymasters even advertised it, but when you behold the shakedown unfolding in real time it's like a gut punch.

Why did we send kids out to Iraq and everywhere else to supposedly fight for freedom and democracy only to have a fraudulent, thieving, spit in your face crew of crooks steal our vote?

My eldest called in from Korea last night and asked, "These people are writing my checks, it makes me feel sick." I told him, "You're serving the real America," and, "Salute the flag, not the man behind it." He got that. As LL puts it, don't desert your shield.

STAND STEADY.

Wake Of The Flood

Everyone's asking, did this pastoral Texan haven survive last night's sound and fury, did it survive the flood? Yes, by the grace of God it did.

You could see the after effects of the storm this morning. Pecans and the broken debris of modern life lying in the gutter where they'd been swept by the floods. Want a weave or a styrofoam Whattaburger cup? Take your pick, there's plenty.

Regardless, POCs were scavenging the detritus as I walked Blue Eschaton to the Pick'n Steal. Good for them, big money in pecans. And that was that, we survived yet another raid by our Old Enemy, the Weather on the brave Republic of Texas.

I know, you're cautioning against false complacency. A battle won is not the same as a war won and that, all of you ten readers, is why we're prepared.

Come and take it,

Trump American Hero

LL via Ed has a few things to say about our President:

I think that President Trump is one of the few genuine heroes with an American heart in politics. And there are very few of them. He serves without pay, at great cost to his personal fortune, for the sake of the nation. Draining the swamp and reducing the size of government is what we need above all else.
For the first time in my life, the Left in 2018, was interrupted in its sequences of uninterrupted victories in their ongoing efforts to destroy life, liberty, joy and faith wherever found. We need to give President Trump a lot of credit.
These are folk who favor contraception, abortion, gay marriage, and campus thought-police. They love riots and turmoil. These are folk who burn the flag, kneel for the anthem, and trample the crucifix.
They want to make Santa Claus gender-neutral and Dr. Who a girl, and they insist on banning “Baby, it’s Cold Outside” as problematical. Each time you think society has reached the basement floor of ugliness, insanity, pointlessness, and inhumanity, the floor breaks, and deeper, darker abysses beckon. There is no bottom.
Reflect on HG Well's Time Machine for a moment if you will.
The Left is divided for convenience sake into two taxonomies: the Morlocks are the self-aware Left, who know and love evil, and are not self deceived. These are the masterminds, the prime movers, the men who know better.
The Eloi are the useful idiots who, acting against their own common sense and self preservation, are lured into a mob, whipped into a frenzy, and stirred into reckless self destruction by the Morlocks.
The names come from a famed science fiction fable where the pride in man’s evolutionary progress is curtly suborned in the reality that progress sometimes means devolution. Also, Morlocks are cave dwellers who work the mechanisms keeping the plantation in motion. The Eloi are their victims and livestock.
The distinction is made lest anyone blame the Eloi for their own self deception. They are guilty of negligence, not malice, and some are so foolish and proud that they have no idea the lemming horde is heading toward the cliff. They think a futuristic paradise awaits them once they leap into the sea.
What awaits them is Venezuela, USSR, Cambodia, and Detroit, otherwise known as Famine, Plague, War and Death.

Outstanding, LL. But for what it's worth, I'd say Trump represents the old, pre-rainbow pantomime America, the one that fought two world wars to save Europe from the Nazis.

Imagine Obama doing that, much less the MillSoc EuroCom stooges that run what was once Christendom on behalf of the banking cabal.

Question is -- Trump, rearguard or vanguard?

Who'd you say your name was?
