We're aghast, here at the Compound. Why are the traitor, extremist, brazen Fascists who dared slur the family of our beloved Leader allowed to walk free? Why haven't they been swatted, why hasn't there been a 2 am door kick-down?

Good question. Just look at them, those grey haired seditionists, literally standing there on a bridge in Dallas and waving flags as if they were patriots. How stupid and, let's be honest, evil. If they were patriots they'd be loyal servants of our rulers, obviously, but no, they willfully choose to ignore this like the extremists they are. Surely the Democrat Gestapo FBI will catch up with them.

Speaking of catch up, sanctions against Russia appear to be doing just that in the EU and the Sceptered Isle herself. Old Continent serfs, prepare to pay all your paltry income on electricity and gas bills, or eat, up to you. And as your industries shut, your shops close and you yourselves shiver in darkness, raise a salute to our beneficent rulers. 

Their money laundering demands your sacrifice. After all, those private jets, yachts and seaside homes on Martha's Vineyard don't come cheap.

They're at it now in Ottawa, Edmonton, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver and the list goes on. Looks like an uprising, eh? Let's see it spread.

Anniversaries

Happy Birthday, USMC, respect to all those serving and veteran. Speaking of which, I got a call from a churchwoman who was worried about her son being deployed to an island near Japan. She felt bad about feeling so undone by the thing, "I guess I'm not a good Marine Mom! He's still my baby."

OK, it's not the Spartan approach, but more than understandable. I reassured her; thousands of Mothers are feeling exactly what you feel, you're not alone. But be strong, that helps your boy. Of course I spoke from experience, the Private's mom wasn't too pleased he'd emigrated to South Korea. 

Without delving into psychology and the  difference between the sexes, both women were and are proud of their sons. Good for them, they raised patriots who are serving their country. Again, respect, be strong. And I don't say that lightly.

While we're at it, it's also the anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Here's the tune:

Lake Whitney Goes MAGA - Boat Parade

I've always liked Lake Whitney, Texas, and now I like it even more after an awesome MAGA boat rally. OK, it wasn't Florida but it wasn't shabby either, with some three or four hundred patriot boats flying the flag.

Marinas and boat ramps served as staging areas and then the armada set off in great good humor, like a Trump rally but on the water. Is Biden holding rallies? Sure, but they're all about destruction, burning down "the system."

Why? Because they're filled with hatred, not least for the country they live in. This was different, everyone had a good time out on the lake in their boats, loving their country. The Left calls this Fascism and hates it, but since when was loving your country, patriotism, synonymous with Mosely and Mussolini? As in, "You love your country? Wow, literally Hitler."

No, idiots, exactly the reverse. This little regatta was all about saying no to our would-be globalist overlords and yes to our autonomy and freedom as a people. To put it another way, we love our country so stop burning it down, shipping our jobs overseas and erasing our borders so that you, the transnational elite, can make even more cash than you already do.

Or something like that. Were the boats armed? Good question, it'd be a terrible thing if someone lost all their weaponry on the waters of lake. Were there any protesters throwing Greek Fire upon the surgingly patriotic seas of Lake Whitney? No. Did everyone have a good time? Yes indeed, what a lot of fun.

So there you have it. There's an energy to the MAGA thing, evident today, which the Left lacks. And no wonder, they destroy, we build.

We say make America great again, they say it's been evil since conception. They ship our industry overseas, we bring it back home. They destroy our nation by removing its borders, we establish sovereignty by protecting them. They erase our personhood by calling it a construct, we affirm it as God-given. We're pro-life, they enthusiastically kill it in the womb and call it freedom. 

Yes indeed, the freedom of the Pit, which is no kind of freedom at all, and that's precisely what's at stake. 

Well done, Lake Whitney, a good day was had by all.

Have We Devolved?

Such was America in 1962, via Borepatch. Ha, ha, but pretty much innocent and edifying with it. You can imagine the Bolshevik  revolutionaries at Columbia U snarling at the bourgeois excrescence of it all, and their seething hatred of mainstream America, an America which stood between them and a Marxist Utopia.

Flash forward to today.

Haven't we devolved. And look how the radical Left has shifted their gaze from the working class, which they've sold out to China and to, yes, trannies.

Melania Mondays!

Some people sit for the national anthem, others stand and America's attractive and glamorous First Lady lost no time in showing off her patriotism in a red, white and blue varsity jacket at yesterday's Mar-a-Lago Superb Owl party.

Melania started off the celebration by casting an appreciative eye on the Florida Atlantic University band and cheerleaders. According to one observer, the internationally popular former model looked "runway-ready" in a pair of blue Louboutins and "ravishing" on her arrival in Florida, wearing an off the shoulder red coat. And who are we to disagree?  

Today Melania flew to Cincinnati to visit children who were born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS). NAS has become acute with America's opioid crisis, as increasing numbers of babies are born addicted to their mothers' narcotic.

The First Lady, who loves children, brought Valentines Day cards, coloring books and good cheer to the youngsters.

Well done Melania, for doing your part to make America great again.
