Chasing Birds

I didn't get out in the field over the last two days to chase birds and shoot them, but my buddies did. They shot their limit, and I'd say that was laudable.

Maybe their success was down to brush pants and Yeti coolers? Who knows, but what we do know is that both Yetis shot their limit.

Well done, team.

I attribute their luck to the brush pants/trousers. And maybe to the absence of Blue Bird Chaser.

The pants were the first thing I noticed. I didn't know they were "brush" pants. I just thought they ran out of material (not really.)

Anyhoo, those birds looks so tiny. How can there be anything left after plucking and all that? Now the huge pheasants running around our property would make a very nice meal or two.

Adrienne, I'm with you on that. A pheasant is a far more worthy target for a load of birdshot.

Thing is, LL - I'm too big of a city girl weenie to shoot a pheasant. Although, when they are all hiding and suddenly screech and take off scaring the "you know what" out of me, it's tempting.
