Hello Rainbow Clowns, Meet Russia

Russia's intervened in Syria, to bolster Assad and protect its interests. This is America's response, in the words of US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter:

…it’s important to see if we can get the Russians in a position where they are coming to understand the contradiction in the position they now have and the possibility that by seeing a political transition and defeating extremism is something you have to pursue in parallel to succeed in Syria, maybe they could make a constructive contribution. But they’re not on the path to doing that in the way they do — they are acting now.

Got that? Neither do I. Not to be outdone, John Kerry recommended this, at the UN:

military-to-military de-confliction discussion, meeting, conference, whichever … and several options were agreed to be further discussed…we also agreed that it is imperative to find a solution to this conflict… even as we don’t yet have a resolution with respect to some critical choices in that political solution, we think we have some very specific steps that may be able to help lead in the right direction. That needs to be properly explored… And so, we finally agreed we have a lot of work to do.

Russia then proceeded to do this:

You can read some quick analysis here and here, and while you're at it, ask yourself if the most powerful country in the world is being led by a circus crew of rainbow clowns.

Texas Heritage

I went to the Texas Heritage museum today and liked it a lot. It has:

Flags.

A "D Guard" Bowie Knife.

Crossed Sabers.

Uplifting statues.

Audie Murphy.

And a lot more. No one's thought to airbrush out The Cause, and that's just fine by me. There's a Vietnam exhibit too. In fact, come to think about it, it's pretty much a small war museum. Maybe that says something about Texas.

Train hard, think positive, fight easy.

Mystery Beast Destroying Oklahoma Cars

At least 8 vehicles have been ripped apart by a mystery beast in Vinita, Oklahoma, with the culprit leaving behind bite marks, blood, and hair.

“There are paw prints, fine, course hairs mixed in all the mangled parts and what look to be bite marks,” said Fred Griffin, the general sales manager at Green Country Ford. “If it could do this to a car, what could it do to a human being?” said one observer.

Local authorities have set a trap to catch the Oklahoma Beast and police have mounted patrols to catch the crazed animal, which might be a dog, or something more sinister; like an Illuminati puppet stooge for the New World Order of gayness.

The Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma allows gay marriage but deceitfully calls these rituals "Blessing of a Lifelong Covenant."

The Oklahoma Beast is still at large.

St. Michael the Archangel

It's the Feast of the Archangel Michael, so here's a prayer:

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle. Be thou our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast down into hell Satan and all the wicked spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

The Archangel Michael is the patron saint of paratroopers. Why is that? you ask incredulously. Because he's a warrior and he has wings.

Get Out And Ride

People say to me, "LSP, if that's your real name, which we doubt, how come you don't ride very much, seeing as how you're so country?" Good question, and to set the record straight, I drove out to a friend's place and got in the saddle.

We rode out around the 600 acre ranch, walk, trot, gallop, and surveyed the territory. A beautiful place to ride, with plenty of room to put the foot on the accelerator and several vistas that suddenly opened up in the light of the setting sun.

Somehow we picked up a small herd of horses that followed us about and played a little rodeo. You might want to be careful with that; a loose horse in front of you could decide to kick. Your chest. That didn't happen, fortunately, and we lost the herd.

There is a sense of expansive freedom being on horseback in Texas, and my mind goes back to the people who settled this land not that long ago. It was hard for them and the difficulties were great, but so too was the advantage.

I've been invited back, "Come out any time! But if you see a rattlesnake you have to shoot it."

That sounds fair to me.

Church Membership

I was pleased to see some new faces at one of the Missions yesterday, after all, the Church must grow and the more the merrier. Following the Mass, one of the newcomers asked me if I'd like to go out to his lease for some hunting.

"Come on out for a few days," he said, "there's deer and pigs. Just get back to me with a few dates, whatever's best for you!"

I accepted, of course, and thanked him for his kindness, saying that I had a 30-06 that needed some exercise. Then he asked how to become a member of the church.

"Inviting the pastor on a hunting trip is a very good start."

For some reason there's no ban on Confederate flags here. But that's a different story.

Secede.

Super Blood Moon

The Super Blood Moon is upon us. What does it mean? What will it bring? We don't know, except more lies from inside the Beltway. That much is certain.

So too is Russia's foreign policy success in Syria. Do you remember how the Western Powers and their coalition of Saudi, Qatari and Turkish friends were supposed to be waging war against ISIS, but weirdly weren't?

Now their cover's been blown by Putin, who is.

Watch, as our NWO, Illuminati, Satanist overlords to go into overdrive, claiming the Russian attack on the genocidal Jihadists is really an attack on their enemies.

And while you're at it, check out the neat film, Blood on Satan's Claw.

Hill County Outlaws

Pedro Vial, a Frenchmen hired by the Spanish to find a route between San Antonio and Santa Fe, was possibly the first European to enter the territory that became known as Hill County, Texas. That was in 1789.

In 1870, a 16 year old John Wesley Hardin was busy in the county, drinking, gambling and killing. By January of that year, Hardin had shot and killed 8 men, the first in a long list of 42 slayings that Hardin claimed before he was shot and killed in an El Paso saloon, in 1895 by Constable John Selman. Hardin wasn't alone.

In the years following the Civil War, Hill County was reportedly "infested with outlaws and desperadoes" who actively resisted Governor Edmund Davis' State Police. Davis had fought with the Union and was oddly unpopular in Hill County, along with the Reconstruction Government and its law.

When the latter moved against the Kinch West -- who may or may not have ridden with Quantrill's Raiders -- and Cox Brothers gang, locals didn't give their support and martial law was declared in 1871.

The outlaws have gone now and Hill County is comparatively law abiding. But reflect on this. 1871 isn't that long ago.

Boot and Spur

When we walked into the Pitt Stop yesterday to get hamburgers, one of the riders was wearing spurs. An old timer looked up from his booth and said, "Spurs?" and my friend said, "Well you can't be a cowboy without spurs, can you now."

The old timer thought for a bit and kind of beamed back, "I haven't worn a pair of those in years!"

I hardly ever ride with them and maybe that's a mistake, but here's some basic spur wisdom from HorseChannel.com:

Spurs are no substitute for good riding skills. By no means will they help make you a better rider.
“You have to know how to ride a horse correctly before you put spurs on,” says Sherryl Crawford of Lipan, Texas, who grew up running cans, trains her own barrel horses and also team ropes. “If you don’t really know what you are doing as far as riding or training a horse, and you’re also spurring him, you’re just going to end up with a big problem that you can’t fix.”
“Spurs are a good tool if you use them correctly; they’re not for looks, and they’re not to be used as a weapon,” says Earnest Wilson of Tolar, Texas, who is a well-respected Paint Horse trainer with 46 years in the business...
Spurs should be applied with steady pressure—pressing the spur into the horse’s side, not poking him. You can increase the pressure as necessary, but if you poke or jab the horse he’s going to lurch or jump. Then you risk grabbing with your legs to hang on, and grabbing his mouth, too. That will simply scare your horse.

Archbishop of Canterbury's Plan for the Anglican Communion

Some people are puzzled by the Archbishop of Canterbury's plan for the Anglican Communion. Here's what he said:

"Our way forward must respect the decisions of Lambeth 1998... recognising that the way in which proclamation happens and the pressures on us vary greatly between Provinces. We each live in a different context.

“The difference between our societies and cultures, as well as the speed of cultural change in much of the global north, tempts us to divide as Christians: when the command of scripture, the prayer of Jesus, the tradition of the church and our theological understanding urges unity."

Clear? No, it isn't. So here's a helpful translation from Shakani:

"Allow us this evening to elucidate a bit more clearly, a bit more precisely on the belief system leg of that prism. For understand, that within the vibration, the frequency of All That Is, and within the vibration, the signature vibration that you are - are your belief systems, and these too are vibratory frequencies - vibratory frequencies in this case of awareness. But, when you utilize those particular frequencies there are always corresponding results depending on which frequency you choose. So therefore perhaps you can say, your primary belief in life is the primary frequency through which you are choosing to explore at this time."

You get it now, right?

Ride On

I got up while it was still dark to go for a ride with some church people. We met at the Open Range Cowboy Church, which has a good men's breakfast  -- must do something like that at the Missions -- then trailered off to Lake Whitney and saddled up.

A horse

It's a great place to ride and has more than enough space to open up and charge off, but we mostly walked and trotted through the unspoiled country.

Bad mischief

I finished off with a gallop. Big fun to be moving fast with the horse! I'm still excited and uplifted by that. We stopped for hamburgers afterwards, which was good too.

Stay on the horse,

It's the Dyslexic Deacon!

The Dyslexic Deacon's back, and he's back in force with this insight on the Anglican Communion:

Saucies closed to APB Justsin Wobbly say he and bother promates will gambol on the fewture of the Naglican Conunium at Labmeth Palais. After the last throes of the dioceses they will bed in sepirate sleep rooms.

Justsin Grins

Rumors that the Dyslexic Deacon is the brains behind the Glastonbury Festival may or may not be true. But here's some food for thought.

Depart, harming no-one!

Should Pope Francis, who has a proven track record of exposing evil, visit Lambeth Palace and "liberate" Justsin from the wickedness that oppresses him?

I'd say, "Good call."
