It started off almost innocently, a playful thing of happy workers eating bats in the utopia that is the Celestial Kingdom.
Then, oh dear, maybe the weirdly contagious and fatal bat virus came from a Wuhan bug factory, a deadly weaponized virus that broke free from a bioweapons lab. Coz, you know, bats infected with killer pathonogens don't bite anybody.
Fast forward. According to official Chinese estimates there's 35k++ victims. Or would that be 350k? Who knows, but what we do know is that over 400 million Chinapersons are locked up, giving new meaning to Chinoiserie.
Good thing it's not contagious.

Accurate information from China? Doubt even the big shots know. Truth telling doesn't seem to be rewarded there.

Well, given the virus has a 10-14 day incubation period where the person is contagious most of that time and without symptoms, I don't know how you could stop it. I've read blurbs here and there talking about how creamatory's are working 24/7 every day. That's more than 910 deaths(today's count)
Who really knows what's going on. I check the John Hopkins coronovirus map about once per day. Is it accurate? No way to know. Meantime - wash your hands and keep them away from your face and cancel your China vacation.

LSP - no way to know with any certainty, but I'm seeing reports that 'Crematory's are working 24/7' and another post that shows a satellite image of very hot spots near Wuhan and based on chemicals in the air from another report indicate a large number of bodies are being burned near the required temperature of 1700 degrees F for cremation.
Compared to 8 years each of clinton, bush and obama, China has been enjoying some Very Good economic times. That has now come to an end with DJT Tariffs and the trade deal #1, and soon to come Trade Deal #2. I would not be the least bit surprised that China is culling its population as a result. It's what communists do.
I also read people like the doctor that rang the bell on this thing is dead from it at 34 years old. So it's not just old people who are most vulnerable. also that the virus contains the HIV virus as part of it indicating it is an engineered virus. True? Who the heck knows. We can be sure China isn't going to release bona fido's.
