Readers, there's good news and bad news. Let's start with the good. David Letterman has gone into retirement, and the whole world sings with joy. The bad news?
One less liberal to bray to the low information voters. Who will fill his shoes? My money is on Stephy-the-Hobbit...but they'll have to stuff a lot of newspaper into those wingtips before George's nasty little feet can fit inside of them comfortably.

The sad thing is that in the 1980s Letterman was genuinely funny. Then he became a sad, bitter, vicious old man.
The Late Show with Stephy-the-Hobbit has a certain ring to it.
Let's see what modern science can do to fix the size issue.
