Some scorn Kipling, not least the admirable GK Chesterton, but he wasn't infallible, unlike the Church he defended. Regardless, Kipling's surely prophetic.

On This Day

Japan formally surrendered to the allies on September 2 1945, bringing an official end to World War II and hostilities in the Pacific. The surrender ceremony took place aboard the USS Missouri.

On this day 75 years ago, World War II officially ended & today we honor the millions of Americans who served this Nation from the battlefield to factories across the Country. We will never forget the courage, strength, innovation & sacrifice of America’s Greatest Generation.

Archbishop of Canterbury Found on Mars

Startling footage from a NASA Mars rover appears to show a giant statue of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, on the Red Planet.

While some believe the statue depicts a slave owning Egyptian Pharaoh, careful analysis by a leading UK xenologist says otherwise, that the off-world monument is the Church of England's top bishop figure.

Was Hitler Possessed?

Was Adolf Hitler possessed? The famous exorcist Fr. Gabriel Amorth certainly thought so. All of us have defining moments in life, momentous events that shape our vision of reality, for good or ill. For some, and for example, it was World War II, for others it was Vietnam or one of the wars that followed, and we're still fighting. For others again it was Woodstock and the civil rights movement.

Let's cut to the chase. Today's Left are trying to emulate and relive the antics of their forebears. They want another Kent State. They want the forces of law and order to shoot them so they can say abolish the law because it's against the law. Yes, Satan is incoherent, but here's the thing. 

There is no grassroots proletarian revolution, there hardly ever was. There is a movement of privileged, corporate sponsored radicals who, for whatever reason, wish to destroy everything. In other words, this uprising like its Marxist forerunners is nihilist astroturf, it cares nothing for working people.

In the meanwhile, our LE has shown superhuman restraint by not opening up and solving this nasty little gordian knot in the very few minutes it'd take.
