Part of the problem with having your teeth out is that you can't chew anything until your gums have healed and the new gnashers settled. But you can sip, in my case, hot tea.
And apologies, "stars and bars" should be "stars and stripes" in the above infovid.

When I've had any heavy dental work done (wisdoms at 17, a broken molar two years ago), they told me to avoid hot drinks and alcohol for a couple days, lest I dissolve the clots. Today tho, was a semi-lazy breakfast of instant oatmeal and Earl Grey, all enjoyed from my blue speckled enamelware.
FYI the Stars and Bars is properly called the Confederate First National flag, the US flag is called the Stars and Stripes. Perhaps you just need a plain Lone Star up there.
I like a good cup of Earl Grey, Mattexian. The tooth puller said I should hold on the tea/coffee for a couple of days, OK now though.
And sorry about the flag! I added an apology...
Where there's tea, there's hope. Hot with milk, obvs.
Juliette, you are most definitely correct. I find digestive biscuits work well too.
You English don't know how to make tea. It's supposed to be weak!!!
Assam - you can stand a spoon up in it.
Nothing quite like a good cup of TEA, Infidel.
Good call, Anonymous.
