Blue Scientist needs time to think. And when you think that he's sleeping, he's not. He's simply trying to formulate the unified field theory. It can be interrupted by a piece of chicken (no bones) or a steak. I have it on good authority that he will interrupt his cyphering for a brisket burrito too.
