Inspired by someone's comment on social media:
One narco-terrorist commie dictator down, how many more to go? It's quite a list, but a name stands out. He lives in a shiny fronted black house in central London. C'mon, WAR HEGSETH, here's the postal address:
🚨🇺🇸🇹🇷🇮🇷 A dozen US C-17A Globemaster III transports arrived at RAF Fairford, UK, unloading at least five MH-60 Black Hawks and one MH-47G Chinook from the 160th SOAR, plus several CV-22B Ospreys from the USAF's 7th Special Operations Squadron.

Like wow, I no sooner post BOC's awesome Godzilla than SOCOM goes kinetic. What a raid, leaves Skorzeny in the techno dust, and now Maduro's getting the perp walk in New York. A message to Commie Mamdani? Yeah, and every other corrupt rainbow leftist that ever there was. What can we say?
The Venezuelan flex leaves risible Rainbow Europa and Whitehall looking peculiarly irrelevant, as in nobody cares what you think. Russia and Chyna? A strong signal, to put it mildly, stay out of our back yard, dammit, and let's hear it for Monroe. More broadly, some call it the end of globalist orthodoxy and a return to multipolar national interest.
Perhaps, but what do you think, so-called LSP? Good question. On the one hand, a bravura display of military power or, in the hideous language of our technocrat overlords, force projection. Respect, world take note. On the other, who will we choose to run Venezuela? Pressing issue, surely. One commenter on this shallow and frivolous mind blog offered a timely caveat:
The Bush Doctrine is apparently back. I wonder if Venezuela will be a better place now with the Carlyle Group running their ports, BlackRock controlling their shipping, the Gates Foundation running their farmlands, Musk running their media, Bezos running their economy, Pfizer running their healthcare, Palantir in charge of their security, and Royal Dutch Shell extracting their resources. Let's not forget too, Trump's Ambassador-at-Large---Log Cabin Republican Ric Grenell---who'll make sure that the Catholics down there accept the Rainbow Agenda.
Thanks, Night Wind, good call. But Bush doctrine? I don't see a ground invasion here but what can I say, situation developing. Still, NW's corporate interest caveat in mind, who will we chose to take over this oil rich state? Who knows. And also this.
The late Roman Republic fell, it would seem, into Empire, Imperium; as Roman conquest added up from Carthage on, delenda est, so too did tribute/tax money. In the end the cross currents of greed, power, ambition and the Republican mores of a free if now imperial city clashed. The upshot?
After a brutal civil war, Octavian won and became Augustus, the Empire had an Emperor. Fast forward to the 6th Century AD and a desolate city in ruins and a deserted Via Sacra. Do you think, dear friends, that history rhymes?
SPQR,

Well that wasn't on my bingo card and neither, apparently, was it on Maduro's. Wow, US spec ops swooped in and bagged Venezuela's president, who's now on a boat to New York. Say what you like, but it certainly goes hard.
BREAKING 🚨 President Trump just dropped this bada** video with “Fortunate Son” blasting 🔥

A young sergeant called me up in the wake of the news, "Dad, I'm out of a job." I reflected on this for about two seconds, "Why, son?" Because, obviously, "we don't need Big Army to fight and win wars anymore." He was joking but you get the point. That in mind, the Caracas op will surely go down in history and, if we can effortlessly take down one commie dictator, why not another? Here, look:
They bombed Chavez's mausoleum too, just for kicks. Situation developing,

Today, dear friends, is the anniversary of the Reconquista in Spain. You've perhaps been taught that the Crusades were acts of vicious white colonial oppression against peaceful, civilized, algebraic Muslims. Not so fast, punters.
Within a century of the prophetic warlord's arrival in the sands of what's now Saudi Arabia, his fanatic followers had swept through the Persian and Eastern Roman empires, carrying all before them. In fairness, Rome and Persia had recently exhausted themselves in a vicious, bloody and expensive war, neither were fit to fight the savage whirlwind that swept upon them from the desert.
Neither was Visigothic Spain, which fell to the Saracen war horde in the early 8th century AD. Imagine that, Spain itself under Moslem control, your churches turned to mosques, your women raped and enslaved and you, what's left of you, forced to pay Jizya, the unbelievers tax, to your new Mohammedan overlords.
The Crusades were launched to defend Christendom from this very real threat, and in Spain they succeeded. From a small stronghold in the Asturias, and over seven centuries, Christian warriors fought back against the followers of the false prophet until the Moslems were utterly defeated. On January 2, 1492, the Catholic Monarchs, Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile, took control of the Emirate of Granada, the final remaining Moslem sovereignty in Iberia.
Spain, Vivat Hispania!, followed up her success by conquering Mexico and all things south of the border. if only they had turned their attention to North Africa as well, then life would be very different. Gold, surely, got in the way.
This in mind, do you think the first Reconquista will be echoed by a second?

Here we are at the beginning of a whole new year, a future space awaiting fulfillment (excuse me, did you just write that? Ed.) and what better band do we have to lean on than Blue Oyster Cult. Viz. Godzilla and Don't Fear The Reaper. Here they are, as a kind of compendium of awesomeness:
Go, Godzilla. Right on, kick out the predatory reptile beast of the State from our lives, with all its grift, graft, gaslighting deceit, outright fraud, betrayal of the social contract, and sheer criminality and vice. Time to go, Godzilla. Bold call, right? And scary too, but here's an inspirational anthem:
Have no fear, don't be afraid says Christ, the Word made Flesh, and nor should we moving into this new evolution. What will it hold? I don't know, but wish you all the best as God moves everything to its perfectly ordained end. You might say Ï„Îλος.
Cheers,
LSP
A cheery note to wish you all a great New Year. 2025 was more than a little seismic at the Compound, featuring major truck surgery, Kyrie Eleison, a vastly enjoyable trip to Clubland, DOGE/MAGA, lawyers guns and money, and on. Highlight? Perhaps Mass at the Brompton Oratory followed by perfect roast beef at the East India.
Then again, maybe the constant of genuinely good, faithful people at the Missions where I feel honored to serve. I tell you, punters, if you'd said, back in the '90s, "LSP, you'll end up in rural North Central Texas," I would've laughed, "Don't be stupid." But no, the laugh was on me and thank God for it. Preface in hand, what will 2026 bring? As we ponder that, here's a video of a drone on OSTFRONT:
🇺🇦 Flying Christmas tree in Ukraine is something new for me 🎄🤪 pic.twitter.com/eDMnfBiyZL

So, what will the New Year bring. Revolution in Iran? Sure looks that way, and watch that space. Democrats arrested for fraud, corruption and grift, not least in Minneapolis? We can but hope. An end to the war in Ukraine? Please. And who knows, maybe Great Britain will rise up and overthrow loathed, despised, deceitful, pudding faced, unfit for purpose, globalist puppet Two-Tier Kier. About dam time and perhaps Iran serves as a bellweather, a canary in the coal mine. Boot the Islamo-Commies outta town.
But this is contingent, it may or may not happen, though necessary in the mind of God who knows all things absolutely. What's not contingent is the loving providence of our Creator, who guides all things, even 2026, to their rightful end.
Give thanks to Him for that and sing out a Te Deum before your electricity goes down.
Your Old Pal,

Those Russkie pranksters are at it again, this time broadcasting Swan Lake from their Cold War radio channel UVB-76, transmitted on 4625 kHz. Those pesky Kremlins did something similar in 1991 during the August coup. So what could this cryptic crisis message possibly mean today? As we reflect on this, admire Tchaikovsky's beautiful ballet.
And don't say flight of the Oreshnik.
Your Friend,
LSP
All you war pundits may have noticed UKR sent a flight of drones to Novgorod with a view towards destroying Putin's state residence. Good call and right on the eve of preparatory peace negotiations at the White House. What can I say?
Obviously someone wants moar war and, in fairness, Kiev's been promised boatloads of Euros going into 2026. So worth it, EU and UK taxpayer; fund the war being fought with people's bodies other than your own so that Blackrock et al can become even more massively rich beyond anyone's wildest dreams. But maybe the Russkies aren't too pleased with this latest gambit, Sergey Lavrov seems to think so:
LISTEN to Lavrov’s full account of Ukraine’s ‘terrorist attack’ on Putin’s residence91 drones used, none hit their markBUT ‘given the final degeneration of the criminal Kiev regime…Russia’s negotiating position will be revised’ https://t.co/6QEfMFk4y0 pic.twitter.com/xDkXwlNg9i— RT (@RT_com) December 29, 2025
Don't say Oreshnik, anyone, or Belarus. Russkie retaliation aside, what do you think Western vested interests would do if Russia, say, advanced to the Dnieper and took out Odessa to boot? Just a hypothetical as Russia continues its grindingly slow advance, but what would our beloved rulers do if that continues.
Write the whole thing off as a partial loss, pretending it never happened, Afghanistan style? Set up Werewolf resistance in western Ukraine to continue the war, small scale? Or go to war, big war, against Russia. All the PR signals from beloved Ursula von der Leyen, Chancellor Merz, Gay Bonaparte Macron and Two-Tier Kier seem to be pointing to the latter option. But surely this is bluff.
The UK, Germany and France are currently nothing militarily without the US and, let the reader understand, our new European Warlords don't have any industrial capacity to fight a war even if they wanted to, they offshored it all to China to make themselves even richer.
Imagine, Two-Tier calls up Xi, "Please make us 10 zillion rounds of 155, 10,000 hypersonic missiles, and a new rifle because the one we have doesn't work because it's rubbish. Oh, we need ammo for all the rifles you'll make for us because we don't have any ammo factories left. Not green, you see." Xi thinks about it for a moment and, remembering Palmerston (all hail) and the Summer Palace, says, "No."
Who knows, maybe the Russkies will fold in the face of massive European Rainbow Union threat. Maybe the UKR proxy pawn will fold under the weight of what appears to be cumulative Russkie pressure on the front. Maybe our beloved overlords will burn it all down rather than lose. Me? I'm inclined to think they'll walk away and pretend it never happened. Not unlike a cat, when you think on it.
