Sunday Vespers

Keen-eyed readers of this liturgical mind blog will appreciate the photo of LL standing guard on the summit of his mountainous stronghold, high on the Mogollon Rim. Others may simply enjoy Wishbone Ash, or not. No rule.

But in keeping with Argus' classical theme:

Rather good, eh? In other news, the religion of peace beheaded a teacher in Paris for daring to show his class a drawmo. The peaceful member of TROP was shot dead by police.

Here in the US, the seething mass of corruption that is our political elite continues to unfold, don't say laptop, and more seriously, Old NFO has published a moving sermon. Read it here.

Red Islamic Terror

Maybe you're wondering why millionaire socialist, Jeh Johnson, who happens to be head of Homeland Security, is unable to call out Islamic terrorism.

Here's some background, via LL:
(Investors Business Daily) While speaking to Muslims last week, Homeland Security chief Jeh Johnson revealed why he's so protective of them. He compared growing suspicions cast on them to the plight of his communist kin.
Johnson dropped the bombshell that his grandfather had been investigated for communism and un-American activities.
We can't say we're surprised. Add him to the parade of Red diaper babies in the Cabinet, including top White House advisor Valerie Jarrett, former political advisor David Axelrod and President Obama himself.
No wonder this administration isn't interested in monitoring radical Muslims for terrorist connections.

Millionaire Socialist

And here's the thing. If there was a Communist 5th column in the U.S., and there was, that was intent on turning America into a godless workers paradise, replete with gulags, then what was wrong with prosecuting them?

Maybe that doesn't sound very tolerant, or liberal to you. Well go and tell that to one of Stalin's kulaks. Likewise, go ask the victims of San Bernardino if they think Islam is a religion of peace.

Oh, you can't. They're dead.

ISIS laughs.

El Nino Calls Out ISIS

Notorious weather bandit and cartel kingpin, El Nino, has threatened ISIS leader, Al Baghdadi, after ISIS interfered with a drug shipment.

“You [ISIS] are not soldiers. You are nothing but lowly p*ssies. Your god cannot save you from the true terror that my men will levy at you if you continue to impact my operation."

Al Baghdadi

“My men will destroy you. The world is not yours to dictate. I pity the next son of a wh*re that tries to interfere with the business of the Sinaloa Cartel. I will have their heart and tongue torn from them.” El Nino said in an email, cartelblog.com reported.

El Nino is on the run, after escaping from a maximum security prison in Mexico, and is popularly known as "Shorty."

It seems a new front has opened in the war on ISIS, but who will win? Shorty, or Baghdadi?

The bets are on,

AG Lynch, You Are a Dhimwit

Our Attorney General, Illuminati shill puppet, Loretta Lynch, is threatening to prosecute people who insult Islam.

She's not going to tolerate violent talk about the Religion of Peace because the 1st Amendment doesn't cover that, apparently:

When we talk about the First Amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American. They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted.

What about the actions predicated on the violent talk in the Koran, the Hadith and the Mosques? You know, the peaceful ideology of Islam that led to the San Bernardino massacre, some guy going Jihad in Leytonstone with a machete this evening, or Paris, or any one of a number of atrocities that began with the false prophet Mohammad and haven't stopped since then.

NWO Dhimwit

Are you going to prosecute that, Attorney General? No. You're not. Because you are an Illuminati stooge and an NWO dhimwit.

Wake up and smell the Jihad. Then fight it.

Kick out the Jams.

Syed Farook & Tashfeen Malik -- Jihad California

At first the media tried to blame the California massacre on the pro-life movement and then it was gun control and Christianity. "Better think of something better to do than pray, you stupid NRA Christians," went the chorus. But the narrative broke down when the shooters turned out to be Muslims.

Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik, a pair of devout Muslims.

What could possibly have been their motive? And as you ponder that, reflect on the wisdom of large-scale Muslim immigration.

Allahu Akbar!

Turkish soccer fans booed and broke out into chants of Allahu Akbar! during a minute's silence for Paris, before the start of a Turkey v. Greece match this morning.

Nice. They'll probably find a warm welcome in Germany, where two Hannover soccer stadiums were evacuated after a bomb threat. No explosives were found, but a possible bomb was "blown up" by police at a city train station. Hannover residents have been urged by law enforcement to not "stay in groups."

How's That Peace Sign Working Out For 'Ya?

You know, I applaud Germany for doing its best to welcome people trying to escape from our, ahem, enemies, ISIS. But Muslim immigration, on a massive scale?

What, in the wildest dreams of an overactive imagination, could possibly go wrong. Suicide bombers? Throwing grenades at death metal concerts? Gunning people down at cafes? Too bad that's not some deranged NSDAP fantasy.

Hannover was lucky this time.

Biker Mo-Draw, CIA Mo-Train

I guess everyone's waiting to see what the result of the Biker Mo-Draw contest will be. Will the followers of the Religion of Peace kill the cartoonists, and the bikers? Will there be yet another biker shoot-out, as Outlaw MCs and Jihadists duke it out in Phoenix?

Who knows, that's unclear, but what we do know is that the CIA has been training peaceful moderate Muslims who then join ISIS. That's it, ISIS, the same ISIS that we seem strangely reluctant to fight or even bomb.

Here's one, the former head of the Tajik OMON, Gulmurod Khalimov, trained by America and now in Syria with his ISIS friends. This is what he has to say about his patron, the United States:

“Listen, you American pigs, I’ve been three times to America, and I saw how you train fighters to kill Muslims. God willing, I will come with this weapon to your cities, your homes, and we will kill you.”

I'd like to see him try, in Texas. In the meanwhile, you decide if we have an effective strategy against the ISIS savages, and may the best man or woman win the Phoenix Mo-Draw.

Cheers,

Memorial Day 2015

Remember the fallen and while you're at it, spare a thought for towns like Itasca, Texas, with a population of around 1,600 people. That's their War Memorial above, with the last marker reserved for the Gulf War and Iraq. I think Afghanistan has been added.

My photo from 2009. I think Afghanistan's been added -- I may be wrong.

There's a lot of names.

If you're not moved and perhaps unsettled by that, there's something badly wrong with you.

May they Rest in Peace,

Well Done

Abu Sayyaf

According to AP, U.S. Special Forces killed a senior ISIS commander, Abu Sayyaf, and captured his wife, as well as freeing a Yazidi woman who was being kept as a slave.

The raid took place in Syria, where Sayyaf was killed after what was described by a National Security Council spokeswoman as an "intense firefight" with some "hand to hand combat."

All US forces returned to base.

More, please.

Well That Was Fun

It felt a bit strange returning to Texas from the land of ice and snow but drive-bys notwithstanding, it was good to be back in the Lone Star State. And it was especially good to meet up with a very old friend who was passing through, to conduct some "business."

What was this business? Good question. It was something along the lines of "communications systems security and interception consultancy," or CSSIC, and it helped to be an Israeli, living in Jakarta. Obviously.

I was impressed by my pal's CSSIC expertise and hope he triumphs in the marketplace, but that aside, the years rolled back over several dinners, as we caught up on our various adventures. "What's the most important thing about a tank?" asked my friend, who had helped crew one at the end of Peace in Galilee. "Reverse gear!" The reason being, he explained, is that reverse is crucial after you've pulled over a ridge to take your shot and have to get back into cover. CSSIC had driven a Centurion, which astounded me.

It had been updated but still, the hull of the metal monster dated from 1949 and there it had been, getting into fights in Lebanon, in the '80s.

Then he was gone and I drove back to my rural idyll in the land where cotton used to be king. I'll be picking up Blue Exocet tomorrow.

Cheers,

Kerry Goofs. Again. Arm the Kurds

America is great and Texas is awesome, but our Secretary of State 'droid needs some tuning, because it's NWO DAARPA designed logic circuits aren't quite up to scratch.

When questioned about the U.S. non-war against the non-Islamic Islamic State, the ketchup fortune traitor-bot stated:

“If you’re more comfortable calling it a war against this enemy of Islam then please do so. We’re happy to call it that.”

Pamela Geller

So I guess we're at war with Pamela Geller. And Israel, and Christianity, and everyone else who lives in the "House of War."

Nice one, Kerry.

Anti-Jihad

In other news, the enemy of Islam is scared of being deprived of virgins in the afterlife if they get killed by Yazidi women. There are several of these, fortunately.

Tower Hamlets?

The non-Islamic Islamic State has women fighters too.

Arm the Kurds,

John Quincy Adams and Churchill on Islam

It seems that the Religion of Peace just can't get enough blood on its hands. Here's John Quincy Adams' take:

"In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar [i.e., Muhammad], the Egyptian, [.....] Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST.- TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE…. Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. The war is yet flagrant... While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men."

And here's Winston Churchill's:

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome."

Remember, it's all fun and games until they chop your buddy's head off. Slowly. In the name of the Prophet.

Good News

Free
Got back from an enjoyable ride and shoot to learn that Geert Wilders has been cleared by a Dutch court of "hate speech". His crime? Daring to suggest that Islam isn't some kind of Buddha-meets-Gandhi, pacifist poetry slam, but a "totalitarian political ideology disguised as a religion," whose Koran mandated goal is "to establish the realm of Allah in this world, if necessary by force."

Wilders is free now and I'd say that was good but Mark Steyn's comments on Gates of Vienna are telling:

"And at the end the awkward fact remains: Geert Wilders lives under 24-hour armed guard because of explicit death threats made against him by the killer of Theo van Gogh and by other Muslims. Yet he’s the one who gets puts on trial."

Maybe people like Wilders will help the West understand that a religion founded by a warlord who married a nine year old girl, when not cutting off Jewish heads at Medina, might just, possibly, have something other than peace on its agenda.

In the meanwhile, have a blessed Corpus Christi,

Bishops Pt. III - Sunni, Shia, Sufi, Schori?

Goofy
In a recent visit to All Saints of the Desert church in Arizona, Jefferts Schori, leaderene and "Boy Bishop" of The Episcopal Church (TEC) spoke out in favor of Islam.

Scary
“There are many strands of Muslims that share a great deal in common with the Episcopal Church. God will use us if we are willing to work closely with each other. There are great possibilities,” stated Schori to parishioners.

Zany
Great possibilities - for what? Interfaith pilgrimages to Mecca? Joint basket weaving workshops? Shared disbelief in the divinity of Christ? And just who are these multiple "strands of Muslims" who have so much in common with Schori's TEC? Would they be the ones that do the beheading, or the ones attacking Christians in Egypt and throughout the Middle East?

Violent
After her enigmatic comments on The Religion of Peace, Schori told listeners that, "Weapons of violence should not be freely available to just anyone who wants them.”

Evidently Arizona is a free firearms distribution zone. Who knew?

Well done Schori, you get a robust eight Alien Heads.

Muslim Genocide

Unsurprisingly, given an aggressively resurgent Islam, Christians are being persecuted throughout the Middle East. Some would call it genocide.

Hudson New York has this to say:

It is obvious by now that the Christians in the Middle East are an "endangered species."

Christians in Arab countries are no longer being persecuted; they are now being slaughtered and driven out of their homes and lands.

Those who for many years turned a blind eye to complaints about the persecution of Christians in the Middle East now owe the victims an apology. Now it is clear to all that these complaints were not "Jewish propaganda."

The war of genocide against Christians in the Middle East can no longer be treated as an "internal affair" of Iraq or Egypt or the Palestinians. What the West needs to understand is that radical Islam has declared jihad not only against Jews, but also against Christians.

In Iraq, Egypt and the Palestinian territories, Christians are being targeted almost on a daily basis by Muslim fundamentalists and secular dictators.

You can read the whole thing here.

Say no to dhimmitude and submission to the religion of peace.
