It was all about getting close to trees today and we found one at Lowes, a modest little beast but well formed for all that. Next up, get it trimmed by a friendly face tattooed shave head Latinx and chuck it in the bed of the rig. Thank God it's a long bed.

Once home, set that tree up in its stand and behold the regimental posture of the thing. Straight. Put lights on it and an angel, recall your dad sweating over lights on Christmas Eve and think how much easier life has become. Yes, we can get Christmas lights from any dollar store, no need to sweat it.

Then put some ornaments on the tree, there's lots and this little fella won't take them all, still, not bad for all that. Mission accomplished, behold your work and scorn the NWO. Globalist excrescence aside, do you remember when we didn't decorate our trees till right before Christmas? I do, and there's a beauty in that. Mind you, must've been stressful for the Paterfamilias.

What Utter Idiocy

 

You may have noticed Air Force academy cadets in Colorado have been taking Diversity and Inclusion classes, D&I, which teach them to use gender neutral language. No more "Mom" and "Dad" for these future warfighters, via Fox News:

According to Fox, an Air Force Academy spokespersyn told the news channel that D&I training prepared the cadets for "warfighting effectiveness." That's right, inclusive language and diversity is key to force lethality, it wins wars.

Yes. Imagine the scene, you're flying low and fast in a rook through deep echelon air defense, somewhere in Eastern Europe. By a miracle you make it and deliver ordnance on target, more miraculously still you get it back to the airfield and there you are, alive, mission accomplished. And all because everyone in your team said "transgender service people" and wrote letters home to their caregiver guardian parents. 

No. They didn't say "Mom" or "Dad," and that's why they won the firefight, said no one ever until the advent of today's rainbow hued American Armed Forces. Leaving aside such total, utter idiocy, why this push to erase our identity as human beings, as Mothers, Fathers, men and women?

On the one hand, it comes almost honestly from people who believe these definitions are instruments of oppression and must therefore be abolished. No man, no woman, no Mother, no Father and at last we're equal, but equal as what? As sexless drones of the hivemind, serf beasts obedient to power. 

Unintended consequence for sure of an ideology which doesn't believe in the reality of humanity in the name of freedom, but there it is. And remember, everything the Left enacts produces the opposite of its intended result. 

And Big Money loves it. Let's rake in Raytheon diversity billions because gender inclusive, green munitions save the planet even as they rip people apart. Thank Gaia you don't refer to them as Mom, Dad, man, woman as you burn them down.

Imagine your Grandson, a citizen of the future, a place of flying cars, massive arcologies and limitless fusion power, a place of peace. Poland - Revenge!

Birds sing, roosters crow, someone's grill fills the air with the smokey aroma of BBQ and all's well with the world. Well, not really, but this little part of it's doing alright even though gas has shot through four bucks a gallon and looks set to climb higher still.

Whatev, here in the North Central Texas Military Zone all's pretty much under control, for now. But what about Poland? Here's this, from the American Conservative:

 

Ten weeks after the conflict began, it is instructive to re-examine the strategic picture. The war against Russia in Ukraine has evolved, but not in the way Western observers predicted. Ukrainian forces look shattered and exhausted. The supplies reaching Ukrainian troops fighting in Eastern Ukraine are a fraction of what is needed. In most cases, replacements and new weapons are destroyed long before they reach the front.

Confronted with the unambiguous failure of U.S. assistance and the influx of new weapons to rescue Ukrainian forces from certain destruction, the Biden administration is desperate to reverse the situation and save face. Poland seems to offer a way out. More important, Polish President Andrzej Duda and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have both expressed the desire to erase the borders between Poland and Ukraine.

Unconfirmed reports from Warsaw indicate that after Washington rejected the proposals for a no-fly zone over Ukraine, along with the transfer of Polish MIG-29 aircrafts to Ukrainian pilots, the Polish general staff was quietly instructed to formulate plans for intervention in the Ukrainian conflict by seizing the western part of Ukraine. Naturally, military action of this scale would require Kiev’s approval, but given Washington’s de facto control of the Zelensky government, approval for Polish military intervention should not be a problem.

 

OK, Col. Douglas Macgregor takes a dim view of the Ukraine's chance of success but his point is that Poland, with tacit US approval, moves to, ahem, assist the embattled NATO proxy and so widen the scope of the war. Big drinks, massive checks all 'round and thank Gaia Raytheon's so green.

By way of context. There's little love lost between Poland and Ukrainian nationalists. Cast your mind back to the Volyn Tragedy of 1943 onwards, in which the UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army) tortured and killed between 50,000-100,000 Polish men, women and children, mostly women and children. Stepan Bandera, once and present Ukrainian nationalist hero, leader and Nazi collaborator encouraged this ethnic cleansing. Why? 

Because he wanted a pure Ukrainian state and Poles weren't part of this vision, partly because of that nation's history of control over large parts of what we now call Ukraine. "They ruled and enslaved us," thought Bandera and now we kill them. His people sure did. 

Yes indeed. Poland hasn't forgotten Volyn, or the Russians. Again, I leave you with this:

Ice Cream Van Reflection

 

An ice cream van, remember those? wends its way through the leafy streets of this bucolic Texan haven. It's a noisy thing and I happen to know it peddles rather more than refreshing ices, maybe the cops will shut it down, please.

Speaking of which, there was a bust outside the Pick 'n Steal (Shamrock filling station) this evening. A couple of Tahoes, lights strobing, a POC with his shorts hanging low cuffed on the back of a beat up Honda, and a "caucasian female" 'splainin' to the Blue. Uh huh.

In related news, our Beloved Leader wants to send $33 BILLION to Ukraine. Leaving aside the knotty question "why do they need the money when they're so clearly, obviously and literally winning" we have to ask. Who benefits from this?
