Mongol Rock - The Hu

Day 9 in Coronavirus Isolation: I have discovered Mongolian rock and my life will never be the same.

Yes, we do requests at the Compound and this one's from my old pal GWB, a Shaolin Master in Georgia. Mongolian rock. Who knew, and now we do.

Fall upon your enemies and destroy them, utterly.

Your Friend,

LSP

The Hu are very good.

One of their videos has the Mongolian president doing traditional mongolian things like striking a fire using flint and steel, all while surrounded by a wall of head-banging Mongols and beautiful Mongol ladies. That video alone should cause concern to anyone in China, as it's basically a "We are Mongols and dang proud of it" video.

Traditional Mongolian throat singing is good, too. It's like death metal, but you can actually listen to it.

It's all new to me, Beans, but I love it! Will look for the fire vid.

Now that was interesting. There's some good stuff coming out of Asia for those who'd like to listen. I found the mix of conventional and traditional instruments of this Japanese band to be quite enjoyable.
