What's it to be Germany?

Europe, and Germany in particular, is presented with a choice. Do you want this?

Or do you want this?

Or is there a middle way, an Anglican via media, that runs through the House of War? History argues otherwise. That aside, I'd argue that the left would prefer Islam, such is their hatred of the Faith from which they were born.

Chesterton wrote about it in the Flying Inn, and while you reflect on that, ponder the Pentagram in the COEXIST logo.

The way it has worked out in the past, you need a Charles Martel-style solution. Nothing else works. As I understand the current mood in France, they're coming around to my way of looking at it. But it's not me - history shows the only way forward.

It'd be nice to think that everyone could happily agree to disagree and get along. I have a feeling that's not very likely, not least because of one religion being bound to emulate its warlord founder. But the left has a soft spot for Islam, curiously. Perhaps that's due to a common hatred of Christianity.

The Ghengis Khan solution worked like a charm as well. While he was alive, there were no warring factions within his empire, or at least none that caught Ghengis' attention.

The San Francisco homos march wearing rainbow burkas. I wish they'd take that zeal to Saudi Arabia and stage a march. They can take the entire sanctuary city with them to Mecca. Sure, the headsman will need to sharpen his axe more than before, but it would be an interesting lesson in the tolerance of Islam.

The bottom cover looks pretty good to me...assuming you swap out that dachshund for a vizsla or GSP.

As I understand it, Fredd, the Khan wasn't known for his sense of "nuanced compromise."

Islam is a tolerant and peaceful religion, LL. San Francisco needs to discover that, in Mecca, in their rainbow burkas. Come to think of it, Austin needs to make the same trip.

I second that, Theodore. Good dog point.

My understanding of German is limited to the kitchen, but I recently learned that AfD is an anti-immigrant political party, with a similar sentiment erupting in the Czech Republic. (They can try relabeling it as "Czechia," I'm not impressed.) I'd want a little more firepower than a shotgun, tho I'm surprised they didn't have the top cover with the man wielding a stereotypical AK.

I guess I'm the only one who thinks there's a little "Kilroy was here" on the lower left of the pentagram.

The Khan had no understanding of the word compromise. If he did, he chose to ignore it. And as far as nuanced goes, he had that down pat. If you tried to bribe him, he would pour molten silver down your throat. How's that for a sound understanding of 'nuance'?

Well spotted, Mattexian.

The Khan wasn't known for his kindly, gentle nature, Fredd. At least that's the way I see it.
