Putin Mocks Pathetic Gay Rainbow



Just to make your Independence Day joy complete, Russian strongman Vladimir Putin poured thinly veiled scorn on the US Embassy in Moscow's pathetically gay rainbow flag.

'Who works in this building?' Putin asked the speaker, Senator Alexei Pushkov, to be told 'Americans.' 
'Let them celebrate. They've shown a certain something about the people who work there,' he added with a smile.

A Stroll To The Shop



The day dawned, with an already fierce sun rising above the treeline, a portent of heat to come. Undaunted, resolute, I loaded the Blue into the rig and drove to the "shop" to get the truck's indicator lever fixed.




Blue liked the ride, an adventure for him these days, and then we walked back to the Compound through the sylvan streets of old Lspboro. Great exercise for the furred Eschaton and good for me too, furthest I've walked since getting kicked off an Arab a year ago.




Safely back at the security of the Compound, I caught up with email, read the news, pondered the iniquity of Marxism, called up the flock, said the Office on the porch, and generally made myself useful until the "shop" called back, "All ready to go, buddy, $360." 

Pretty much exactly what I'd figured. So, off I strolled through the leafy boulevards of this small farming community to the jolly old "shop."




The sun was already rising high and its heat beginning to bounce and shimmer off the roads, paved and unpaved. It's a fierce climate, no doubt about it, which says something about the country people who live in it. 

A tough crew, for sure, but mostly friendly with it. Maybe that's because of a "we're all in this together against the climate" frontier spirit, sort of thing. 




Perhaps. I walked past the site of our old cotton gin, which closed in the 1950s. Good work, proto-globalist asset-strippers. It's becoming a storage facility for broken AC units and U-haul trucks. 




Around the corner from what used to be industry is a kind of open air market, or Suq. No one steals from it, for some reason, and there it sits, rusting metal under a hot, dry sun.




You can buy round bales too, though I don't, shamefacedly, know the cost. Hey, lotta money in grass and I'm glad it's not my job to shift it on and off the trailer.




A few shacks and an RV at the "shop" later, the mission was accomplished. One bright, shiny and working indicator lever achieved. It felt good to have it working again, though I resented having to unlock the safe and pry out cold, hard cash to pay for the plastic miscreant. Made in China? Better not be, and that's for sure.




Next stop? Walmart, where I have a virtual chapel and the wherewithal to buy steak in honor of the 4th, Independence Day. But what's that line?

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

Gentlemen and women, you have a Republic if you can keep it.

Fish On, Commies




Do you feel our nation's at a turning point, a crisis, an existential decision which freedom-loving patriots have to make against God-hating, freedom-despising Marxists? Feels that way, at least to me, so to get some air I went fishing.




Nothing fancy, just the marina on Lake Whitney, and lo and behold, caught a good Bass, a junior Cat, and a handful of Perch. Big fun and I lost count. But all of this action was on a casting rod armed with worms, it produced, obviously.




The second rod was equipped with a Perch head, cast into the depths and left there. I was hoping it'd attract the BIG FISH. You know, leviathan cats, monster bass and on. 

Sure enough, the Perch head magic started to work and the rod twitched, bobbed, went double and on more than a few times. But I didn't close the deal.




In fact, the fish closed the deal, stealing one perch head and one perch tail, leaving the hook to fend for itself. Huh. Next time I'll cut the bait up into smaller chunks, easier for the predatory, cannibalistic fish to get their mouth around.




Is there a moral in this? Quite possibly. Would it be better in a boat? That's another question again.

Marxists are howling for the removal of images of the Archangel Michael, which show him defeating a dark-skinned demon and holding the evil spirit underfoot, sword aloft. Racist, militaristic and colonialist oppressive.

But really, you're going after the Angelic Power, you're attacking that? You should think twice about it, why are you even messing with this, you fools? Angels implacably execute the divine will, and we fall to the wrong side of the sword to utter ruin.




Of course the Maoist vandals doing this don't believe in angelic being or spirit itself, they're Marxist materialists. But just because you blind your eyes to a thing doesn't mean it's not there. Take note, a terrible judgement awaits.

Sermon Time



It went well at the Missions this morning, in a country church kind of way. We heard Christ in the Gospel tell the world that he came to bring a sword instead of peace. And so he does, the world is confronted by Jesus, divine reality who claims to be the way, the truth and the life. To which side of this do you fall?

An aggressive, vocal minority in this country rejects it all out of hand. They hate Christ, Christianity and the culture of the Faith, the culture of the West. That's why they're intent on destroying its monuments and symbols.




Make no mistake, this is a prelude to destroying the Church herself. The same creed, Marxism, with its utter hatred of Christianity isn't content with destroying statues of Columbus, Washington and Lincoln. No, it wants to overthrow, root up and destroy the foundation itself. That'd be Christianity.

Go on, let's see you.

I tell you this. The moment one of those Red fools gets on the porch is the moment they'll wish they hadn't.

How Totally Not Awesome




Swept away on a rising tide of corporate sponsored, holographic Maoism, Archbishop of Canterbury Justsin Welby's calling for a purge of statues in the Church of England's places of worship, including Westminster Abbey and Canterbury Cathedral.

“Some will have to come down, some names will have to change,” said Welby on the leftist BBC's Today Show. In the same interview, Welby, who sources say suffers from deep depression, appeared to come out against portrayals of Jesus as white.




When asked whether the "way the western church portrays Jesus needs to be thought about again," Justsin replied, "Yes of course it does, this sense that God was white... You go into churches (around the world) and you don't see a white Jesus. 

"You see a black Jesus, a Chinese Jesus, a Middle Eastern Jesus - which is of course the most accurate - you see a Fijian Jesus." 

Wow. Here's the titular leader of the world's third largest denomination, thanks to the British Empire, bowing, scraping and appeasing a Marxist fauxtrage mob which hates Christianity.

Of course the insult's compounded by Justsin being an Etonian, his work for ELF, and membership of the Travellers Club. All of which we love, except for Elf, obviously.




But humour aside, the Faith, handed down to us by Christ himself, is under full-scale attack and the denominations appear unable, with notable exceptions such as Cardinal Vigano, to do anything other than "take a knee" and bow in risible subjection to their Marxist rulers.




I'd argue they've been doing that for forty years and more. Awesome? No, not awesome at all.

Right And Wrong




Part of the problem with objective standards of right and wrong, with ethics, is that they're oppressive, they apparently stand in the way of personal freedom. "You can't do this!" thunders the beastly Truth, "Or you'll destroy..." fill in the blank. 

So boom, out goes Truth. At last I'm free to be what I wanna be. But in the absence of truth, of an ethical standard outside of yourself, what fills the vacuum?




At least two things, principally Force and Lies. You don't agree with me? I'll make you do it because I've got  bully power behind me. And failing that, I'll just lie. Remember, there's no objective standard here, it's just you and what you happen to think or want. So go out and get it, there's no "rule."

We've seen this play out time and again over the last 100 or so years, and it's a philosophy that's resulted in mountains of bones; in the massacred millions of thought criminals who dared stand against the dead-handed scourge of the Left. Or didn't, who simply got in the way, like Cambodians who happened to own books. 




To return to the question, what fills the vacuum? Self or pride, and we know the angelic author of this vice. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he rages because he knows his time is near. 

In the meanwhile, we're faced with #BubbaSmollett. Not content with racism, Bubba had to make some up, to lie so he could force his point. Now Bubba's exposed as a mountebank race war goon. Zir's non-hierarchical, millionaire rainbow rulers also.

Who knew that June 2020 would bring a Maoist Cultural Revolution to the US, as in some kind of holographic Tet. 

Well it has, statues are toppling, cities are burning(ish) and everywhere you look it's we hate America and the West, burn it down! And replace it with what? Marixism, obviously.

That in mind, I've preached on today's leftist spasm for the last two Sundays. "If it's a statue of General Lee, George Washington and Christopher Columbus today, who's it going to be tomorrow? Watch my tracer and mark my words, they're coming for the Church. They hate us." And so they are and do.

A statue of St. Serra was pulled down in San Francisco the other day, his crime? Being a white oppressor. How dare he convert and love Indians. And today we've got Shaun King calling for the destruction of colonialist images of Christ and his virgin Mother. Smash it up, Shaun, you blackface mountebank.

Leaving aside the peculiarity of Shaun, who's white but pretends to be black, how are we going to react, how's white America going to react at being slandered, defaced, reviled, ridiculed and mocked by a gang of Marxists masquerading as a civil rights movement?

Father's Day


This year's Father's Day was good because both my sons are OK. One's fixing to ship to South Korea, as opposed to somewhere else, and the other's passed his tests and's working at a friend's construction company. Good boys. Well done.




To celebrate the awesomeness of this, I grilled up some chicken and sausage. Surf 'n Turf without the surf, sort of thing (No, nothing like surf 'n turf... Ed.) And yes, a sharp Kukri's always helpful. Thanks, LL.

Friday Fish



Sure, you can be a miserable Marxist Determinist, go right ahead and choose to leave your free-will behind. Or, on the other hand, you can make like a free agent and go fishing on the mighty Brazos. I chose that path.




It was a little slow at first, but that was alright. Patience, LSP, wait for the bite to switch on and enjoy the big birds casting fierce eyes for targets of opportunity. The one above swooped down on a perch I'd hooked, a first for me. Hey, my fish!




Then things started to roll and it was pretty much a fish with every cast, big Bluegill, decent Drum, and a scad of ferocious junior Striper. Back they went to fight again another day. Big fun, I tell you, and a welcome change from watching fauxtrage commies pull down statues.




I mean really, pulling down statues of Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Jefferson and General Lee is going to transform America into a genderless rainbow no-police utopia, and get Biden elected? Really? No, of course not, it's just a dropped-on-head-as-infant Marxist spasm.




Pseudo-Tet aside, I cut out while the catch was good and headed for home, the big Texan sky reflecting off the water of the river. And there it was, good action met tranquility.
