Diocese Of Dallas Feels The Love

Do you follow Anglican church news? No? Who can blame you, but we're here to tell you that 24 gay marriages were celebrated, blessed or recognized in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas last month. So what? So a lot.

The Bishop of Dallas, George Sumner, is against gay marriage because he's a Christian but he allowed it anyway. Why? Because his gay denomination told him to, it's their law, passed at General Convention last year.

Gene Robinson and his Ex

Rather than go against his denomination's gay rules the Bishop of Dallas played along, declaring himself to be in "impaired communion" with the rainbow but in "full eucharistic fellowship with it." What does that even mean?

How are you in "impaired communion," Sumner and all the rest? You're still up for receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion from these people, so how's your communion impaired? In the mind apparently, you don't like what they're doing.

Who can blame you, but it doesn't say much for your understanding of the communion of the church. This, apparently, has been downgraded to an affair of like and dislike, of mere relationship instead of the organic unity of the Mystical Body of Christ caused and evidenced in the Sacrament of the Altar.

Regardless, here's the advice of this mind-blog. Do. Not. Give. An. Inch. Instead, take the fight to the enemy. After all, they're doing the same to you. Just look at Bishop Love. But look, Communion Partners, don't fear the reaper.

Taylor Swift Does it Again!

Super talented mega star and MillSoc beauty, Taylor Swift, has come out swinging against Trumpism and the GOP, accusing Marsha Blackburn, Republican Senate Candidate for Tennessee, of racism and misogyny.

The fabulously wealthy millionaire socialist took to Instagram to blast "systemic racism," boost "LGBTQ rights" and encourage people to register to vote. CNN's reported a surge of voter registration in Tennessee, the "Swift Effect."

Swift, who's world famous for genius pop hits like We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, has enjoyed iconic status in the so-called "alt right."

Will that continue, now that Swift's broken up with her legion of adoring fans by endorsing Marsha Blackburn and the Rainbow? Will Tennessee go with Swift or opt for MAGA?

Taylor Swift's net worth is $320 million, why be a poor socialist when you can be a rich one.

Tennessee, do the right thing and vote out your elite rulers.

MAGA,

Patriarchal Wisdom

Listen up, you heathen. Here's the Patriarch of Constantinople dispensing incarnational Christmas wisdom.

Neither the tragic experience of violence and reduction of the human person, nor the proclamation of noble ideals have prevented the continuation of aggression and war, the exaltation of power and the exploitation of one another. Nor again have the domination of technology, the extraordinary achievements of science, and economic progress brought social justice and the peace that we so desire. Instead, in our time, the indulgence of the affluent has increased and globalization is destroying the conditions of social cohesion and harmony...
In the Church, we experience freedom through Christ, in Christ and with Christ. And the very summit of this freedom is the place of love, which “does not seek its own” but “derives from a pure heart.” Whoever depends on himself, seeks his own will, and is self-sufficient—whoever pursues deification by himself and congratulates himself—only revolves around himself and his individual self-love and self-gratification; such a person only sees others as a suppression of individual freedom. Whereas freedom in Christ is always oriented to one’s neighbor, always directed toward the other, always speaks the truth in love. The aim of the believer is not to assert his or her rights, but rather “to follow and fulfill the rights of Christ” in a spirit of humility and thanksgiving.

This truth about the life in Christ, about freedom as love and love as freedom, is the cornerstone and assurance for the future of humankind. When we build on this inspired ethos, we are able to confront the great challenges of our world, which threaten not only our well-being but our very survival.
The truth about the “God-man” is the response to the contemporary “man-god” and proof of our eternal destination proclaimed by the Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church (Crete, 2016): “The Orthodox Church sets against the ‘man-god’ of the contemporary world the ‘God-man’ as the ultimate measure of all things. “We do not speak of a man who has been deified, but of God who has become man.” The Church reveals the saving truth of the God-man and His body, the Church, as the locus and mode of life in freedom, “speaking the truth in love,” and as participation even now on earth in the life of the resurrected Christ.”

The truth about the "God-man" is the response to the contemporary "man-god" and proof of our eternal destination... Outstanding and you can read the whole thing here

As a parting shot, what does the Patriarch's "man-god" look like? Hint, it likes to ride a unicorn en lieu of an eyes wide shut, Rothschild supplied driver but don't ask Welby, he doesn't know.

God bless,

Is The Bishop of Chichester a Rainbow Pony?

Church of England observers are suggesting that the Bishop of Chichester, Martin Warner, is a rainbow pony.

"Today's society does not get to trump the whole canon of scripture inspired by God the Holy Spirit - damage done by the institutional Church or by misguided individual Christians is a vain, arrogant and misguided argument, typical of a rainbow pony," stated one pundit, "Same sex attraction does not move one toward perfection."

Others agree. "I always thought the Bishop of Chichester was a man but after his statement on the recent Sex Synod I'm not so sure. He sounds a lot like a rainbow pony," opined one Synod watcher.

The allegations followed Warner's comments on the CofE's York Synod, which voted to welcome people who had undergone sex change treatment and asked the House of Bishops to develop special naming rituals for transsexuals. The Synod also voted to ban "conversion therapy" for people who wanted to change their same-sex attraction.

Warner appeared to sanction the Synod debates and their outcome, hailing them as an indication of "engagement with some of the most important, complex and sensitive human stories in today's society." He went on to state that "more time will be needed" to "understand what we have learned at Synod."

The Bishop of Chichester concluded his endorsement of the Synod's gay and trans advocacy by implying it was part of God's "movement of all things to perfection."

"Whatever narrative emerges from our interrogation of received wisdom and contemporary experience, we as Christians must be explicit about the God who creates us in love and who in mercy and tenderness sustains the movement of all things to perfection, over the rainbow."

Martin Warner has been Bishop of Chichester since 2012.
