War And A Brazen Box

just a typical LSP box

Major powers, see Napoleonic France, Nazi Germany and beyond, have a habit of going to war against Russia. It's like a thing, attack that backward bear of a beast and collect the spoils. So they launch, and what happens? Disaster.

Typically, the Russkies fall back in corrupt, foolish, useless disarray and then recoup, famously, and smash the opposition. See Boney's retreat from Moscow and Operation Bagration. Imagine, if you can, being on the receiving line. Flash forward to today.

oh look, a German Siler Cross!

We went into a proxy war against Russia via Ukraine. As in, "we're gonna take that corrupt, useless, inept, idiotic 13 time zone state apart and install our own rulers, our corporate rainbow rulers, who will collect the fat of the land." What can I say, good luck, it's worked so many times before.

Grad,

LSP

PS. I ask you, patriots, who is more Communist Red, America or Russia? Let's put it another way, which country allows Christian prayer in its state schools? Hint, not the USA. And again, which country has a flat tax of 13% (?), us, or them? Which country locks up malfeasant Bolshevik agitators like P Riot. Us or them? Always them, we are the new nihilist Bolsheviks, with corporate rainbow backing.

I am against that, in whatever country it's satanically incarnate.

LAMENT

Let's have the Bosphorus back. Is that too much to ask? And yes, clear the Moslem threat, see Europe, Suez and the Red Sea. That said, hail, Ánna Komnēnḗ.

Salve and advance to contact, as you imagine what Christendom would have been if it breathed with two lungs.

Lament indeed,

Let's Have it Back

Hagia Sophia, Holy Wisdom, towers over Constantinople today, perhaps the most magnificent of Roman buildings, Imperial power set in stone under the sovereignty of Christ. Today this Cathedral overlooking the Bosphorus is a mosque.

Western Christendom, this is on you. You could have rallied to our eastern brothers and beat back the Moslem, barbarian horde. But no, First Crusade outstanding, you took a different path. The result is before us, Islam controls the Bosphorus under NATO aegis and GloboHomo apostasy grips the West.

Let's have that back, Hagia Sophia, Ἁγία Σοφία, and tell me, which Christian army's going to take it? The British, French, Germans, US and GloboHomo? Or some other force. Stand against that, when it comes and it will, at your peril.

Russia, you'll have noticed, has banned trans surgery.

Winged Hussars

>

Walk. Trot. Canter. Gallop. RUN! All you horse people know; imagine the slashing shock, the kinetic power of the thing.

Poland rode to the relief of Vienna, not that long ago, and broke the Moslem war horde. Let's see more of that and while we're at it, let's have Constantinople and the Bosphorus back. After all, it's ours.

Hussaria,

Donald Trump And The Liberal Tears Factory

Via markmaycott. In other exciting news, I'm fixing to grill up some chicken kebabs later on, Turkish style, not that the Compound's in any way, shape or form in favor of Sultan Erdogan. In fact, we want to see the Bosphorus, Constantinople and Hagia Sophia back where it belongs.

Cheers,

A Bit of This And a Bit of That

Everyone knows the Germans gave up their signature spiked helmets years ago but the tradition lives on, in South America. So if you're in the mood to see the infamous pickelhaube (point cap) in action, head over to Colombia or Chile.

Likewise, you're probably wondering about Imperial Roman standards, their Signa and famous Eagles. None of these have survived fully intact, though a gilded eagle (aquila) has been found in Romania.

Remarkably, a cloth standard (vexillum) has come down to us. This square flag was discovered in Egypt and dates from the third century AD. It features the Goddess Victory but lacks unit designation.

Vexillum experts tell us the flag would have represented a cavalry or auxiliary force or possibly the subdivision of a Legion, and was a significant if lesser emblem than the illustrious Signum or Aquila.

Speaking of which, it's said that the imperial standards lost at the disastrous battle of Adrianople (378 AD) were recovered by general Belisarius in his war against the Vandals. They were then paraded before Emperor Justinian in 534 AD at Constantinople's Hippodrome during the last Roman Triumph. So too were the treasures of the Jerusalem temple, looted by Titus and Vespasian and brought to Rome, only to be looted again by the Vandal King Gaiseric in the mid fifth century.

As Gaiseric's defeated son Gelimer was led in shame around the Hippodrome under the gaze of thousands of cheering Romans, he quoted scripture, "Vanity, vanity, all is vanity." But Gelimer wasn't strangled per the custom of old Rome, instead the vanquished Vandal was awarded estates in Galatia. He died in 553 AD.

I find this interesting unlike, say, the bogus impeachment spectacle taking place in the Senate.

Cheers,

Patriarchal Wisdom

Listen up, you heathen. Here's the Patriarch of Constantinople dispensing incarnational Christmas wisdom.

Neither the tragic experience of violence and reduction of the human person, nor the proclamation of noble ideals have prevented the continuation of aggression and war, the exaltation of power and the exploitation of one another. Nor again have the domination of technology, the extraordinary achievements of science, and economic progress brought social justice and the peace that we so desire. Instead, in our time, the indulgence of the affluent has increased and globalization is destroying the conditions of social cohesion and harmony...
In the Church, we experience freedom through Christ, in Christ and with Christ. And the very summit of this freedom is the place of love, which “does not seek its own” but “derives from a pure heart.” Whoever depends on himself, seeks his own will, and is self-sufficient—whoever pursues deification by himself and congratulates himself—only revolves around himself and his individual self-love and self-gratification; such a person only sees others as a suppression of individual freedom. Whereas freedom in Christ is always oriented to one’s neighbor, always directed toward the other, always speaks the truth in love. The aim of the believer is not to assert his or her rights, but rather “to follow and fulfill the rights of Christ” in a spirit of humility and thanksgiving.

This truth about the life in Christ, about freedom as love and love as freedom, is the cornerstone and assurance for the future of humankind. When we build on this inspired ethos, we are able to confront the great challenges of our world, which threaten not only our well-being but our very survival.
The truth about the “God-man” is the response to the contemporary “man-god” and proof of our eternal destination proclaimed by the Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church (Crete, 2016): “The Orthodox Church sets against the ‘man-god’ of the contemporary world the ‘God-man’ as the ultimate measure of all things. “We do not speak of a man who has been deified, but of God who has become man.” The Church reveals the saving truth of the God-man and His body, the Church, as the locus and mode of life in freedom, “speaking the truth in love,” and as participation even now on earth in the life of the resurrected Christ.”

The truth about the "God-man" is the response to the contemporary "man-god" and proof of our eternal destination... Outstanding and you can read the whole thing here

As a parting shot, what does the Patriarch's "man-god" look like? Hint, it likes to ride a unicorn en lieu of an eyes wide shut, Rothschild supplied driver but don't ask Welby, he doesn't know.

God bless,
