In his New Year address, the Archbishop of Canterbury, toffee nosed old Etonian, Justin Welby tried to pour cold water on Great Britain’s popular vote to leave the hated European Union and welcome "strangers."

It sounds good, right? Very Christian, but hold on a minute, your Reverence! Who are these “strangers”? Surely not millions of military age Muslims, the kind of head chopping savages that drive trucks into Christmas markets or turn once happy Sweden into the rape capital of the world. We’re supposed to welcome these people into our countries, and that’s offering Christian “hospitality”?

Obama, You Are A Mosque Dhimmwit

Barack Hussein Obama made his first presidential visit to a US mosque today and praised Islam for its compassionate mercy and charity.

“Like so many faiths, Islam is rooted in a commitment to compassion and mercy and justice and charity," stated Obama, "Whoever wants to enter paradise, the prophet Mohammad taught, let him treat people the way he would love to be treated.”

But maybe beheading 700 Jews at Medina is the way Mohammed wanted to be treated, as in eye for an eye. I think that's in the Koran somewhere, and the Prophet took it from the Old Testament while ignoring the New.

Christians are supposed to emulate Christ, and like their Muslim counterparts they don't do a desperately good job of it. Westminster Abbey Goes Muslim. Dean Hall, We Scorn You

Westminster Abbey had a come to Mohammed moment when it celebrated the centenary of Anzac Day, and invited worshipers to make the following prayer:

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful,

Praise be to the Lord of the universe who has created and formed us into tribes and nations so that we may know each other, and not so that we may despise each other, Peace be upon all auspicious prophets of God, from Adam, Noah and Abraham to Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed Mustafa, who pulled humanity out of darkness into the light and became guides to peace.

The prayer was written in Turkish, presumably to avoid offending Christians who might have been surprised to find Christ relegated to co-prophet status with Mohammed. Others might even have questioned the accuracy of describing Mohammed, who was a warlord, rapist and killer, as a "guide to peace."

At which point, unless you're an avid fan of Mein Kampf, does Mohammed, who personally beheaded, raped and enslaved Jews at Medina and Khaybar, for example, count as someone who "pulled humanity out of darkness into the light"?
