Many years ago I sat at a table of good bishops, real bishops, bishops that weren't and aren't afraid to stand for Gospel truth and apostolic teaching. One of them suggested I apply for for a position in London, as a kind of force multiplier, perhaps.

In answer: It's perhaps for the best that some fishing expeditions are unsuccessful because this acts as an incentive, a driver for victory in the next round.

You know, that horse was fast and bred for speed/track (Thoroughbred) but willful and sometimes dangerous if you weren't doing you job.
That said, I had many, many days training and riding her, what a lot of fun! Off we'd go, fast as fury and smooth as you like. But that was a few years back, before a mad Arab went rodeo and kicked me off (I was rusty and probably deserved it). Three screws in the femur later and I haven't been on for a while... saying that, I'd like to get back in the saddle again, but only on a well trained horse.

And as to horseback, only been on three times. But the pros said I rode like I've been doing it all my life. Eh, there's this natural feel between horse and man, easy to feel if you pay attention.
Love horses. Would love to have the money, space and time to spend on more riding.

No, I didn't go to London, just stayed here in the country, which is good. But tell you what, though, wouldn't mind a holiday 18thC house in Clerkenwell/Bloomsbury.
