A war rages at the Compound. The protagonists?
An exotic duck.
And a ferocious dog, seeking whom he may devour.
You see, what happens here is that the duck flies over the perimeter in search of food and Blue Terminator doesn't take that lying down. No, he advances to contact, slowly, because he's blind. Meanwhile the duck continues, oblivious, until the last moment and then flies away.
Make of this problem farm parable what you will.

He is doing his best. Good dog!
One day the duck will not be so lucky.
Hope you all are doing well, Parson. Be safe and God bless.
While ducks aren't geese, your dog should still be careful. Ducks have the killer gene inside them as well.
To paraphrase the old parable, even a blind dog catches a duck once in a while.
I find it wonderful that Blue Duck Commander could still use his remaining senses to know there was a trespasser there.
It is better to have wings than feet I think.
Kid, I totally agree with you on this.
I know, DOS!
Well done, faithful Blue.
He wishes, WSF... saying that, it wasn't long ago he'd catch the odd chicken. I'd breast them and turn it all into poppers. Yum.
Infidel, now I'm thinking WILD GEESE. Hmmmm.
Linda, never a truer word!
Bless you.
Yes, WSF. GOOD BOY.
