Halloween

 

Some people think Halloween's Satan's birthday, but it's not, it's the Vigil of All Saints wherein children run around mocking the devils which the Saints vanquish. That in mind, we set up a candy depot outside of Mission #1 and hundreds of kids turned up, first time ever.

Beautiful, they got lots of candy and blessed Bibles. "Here," I offered, "would you like me to bless those Bibles?" Downward glance, "Si." Right on, and in nomine there we were. What a sweet event, next year we'll set up a couple of grills and it'll be even better.

Now, bear in mind, dear readers, that Witches, Crowleyites and assorted occultist malfeasants have claimed the Vigil of All Saints as their own. Seriously, they go around hexing candy and invoking demons. We took a stand, however small, against that today.

We are, punters, engaged in a war, a spiritual war of truth v. lies, light v. dark, God v. Satan. Choose your side wisely.

Satan Really Hates This

You may have noticed that the Latin Mass community filled St. Peter's in Rome on Saturday for a Mass celebrated by Cardinal Burke. Excellent, but you may have overlooked a most serious aspect of this festum. It's this, during the resplendent liturgy, Cardinal Simoni prayed Leo XIII's exorcism in the magnificent marble basilica. Here's a short concluding excerpt:

“Beseech the God of Peace to crush Satan under our feet, that he may no more be able to hold men captive and to harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that the mercies of the Lord may quickly come to our aid, that thou mayest seize the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan. . . We cast you out, every unclean spirit, every satanic power, every onslaught of the infernal adversary, every legion, every diabolical group and sect, in the name and by the power of our Lord Jesus + Christ.”

Like... what? You may know the context, Latin Masses and exorcism are scorned by today's Vatican, don't say Grindr Vatican Gardens, but yes, right there in the heart of the Western Church, a prayer of exorcism, Old Rite, in the language the Devil hates. Imagine the darkness and venal insanity driven before it. We are, dear friends, engaged in a deadly war of dark v. light, lies v. truth, God versus Satan. So choose your side wisely. Per Matt M: 

Cardinal Simoni is an Albanian cardinal, born October 18, 1928, who according to his entry in the College of Cardinals Report, spent “eighteen years in jail at the hands of Albanian communists.” After having completed his seminary study clandestinely, he was ordained a priest on April 7, 1956. But on Christmas Eve 1963, after celebrating an “illegal” public Mass, Simoni was arrested and imprisoned.

Initially, he was sentenced to death for offering the Mass (the TLM at that time), but the sentence was later commuted to twenty-five years of hard labor. During his years of imprisonment, Simoni endured “torture and harsh conditions, including work in mines and sewage canals.” Far from being intimidated by the threat of torture, he secretly celebrated the Latin Mass from memory and heard the confessions of his fellow prisoners.

After his release in 1981, according to the College of Cardinals Report, Cardinal Simoni was still considered an “enemy of the people” and was thus forced to work in the Shkodrë sewers. Nevertheless, he continued to exercise his priestly ministry clandestinely until the fall of the communist regime in 1990.

Fast-forward to present day.

This heroic priest – once sentenced to death for celebrating the Mass – took part in yesterday’s Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage. From the sanctuary of the Altar of the Chair, His Eminence delivered an exorcism prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII on May 18, 1890. The prayer was composed after Pope Leo had overheard a conversation between God and the Devil, just after offering Mass, in which the Devil bragged that he could destroy the Church in one hundred years. Fearful for souls and for the life of the Church of which Leo was visible head, the Holy Father composed the Exorcism prayer, which was recommended by the Church whenever any acts of the Devil are suspected.

This man drives out demons by the power of Christ, take note

Just Go To Mass

 

So, LSP, where do you to Mass in London, if you go at all, which we doubt you ask with that knowing smile on your face. Ah hah, not so fast, punters, I do go to Mass in London and here's where, the Brompton Oratory in Knightsbridge.

Why? Because it's most awesome, with remarkable music, think Tallis, Tye, Byrd etc, and there you have it, the music transports your soul to heaven, and the oriented Novus Ordo but in Latin liturgy (lections English) does the same. And all with efficiency, they don't fumble about and mess around.

I tell you, this Solemn High Concert Mass lasts exactly one hour and fifteen minutes, perfect, leaving you with plenty of time to catch a cab, aka fast mover, to St. James' Square and Sunday lunch at the Club. No bad thing.

So, if you want a dose of real religion and you're in London, if you want to feel like you've been to church, go to the Brompton Oratory, it won't disappoint. Or go to St. Peter's London Docks, but that's a different if similar post.

Spies Who Lie

That'd be at least 51 of them, all of whom went on the record saying Hunter Biden's laptop and associated scandal was Russian "disinformation." You know, like a sinister GRU plot to overthrow our free and fair elections. Remember that? 

Fast forward to today and Hunter Biden's pled guilty to tax fraud. Not a good look, and where does prosecutorial evidence come from, admissible in court? Well goodness gracious, from Hunter's laptop no less. What does this mean?

That US INTEL was and has been captured by the Democrats? Shurely not, mine's a triple G&T, bar persyn. That Hunter's indictment and guilty plea are a feature of a bizarre Kremlin Game of Thrones power play? Perhaps. Or maybe we're just being lied to, constantly, semper, ubique, all the time.

As we reflect on these hypotheticals, keen-eyed Biblicist readers may remember that Satan is the Father of Lies.

James Clapper's net worth is estimated at a paltry 5M$ Socialist Buyed-Off-Bucks. Or maybe he wasn't bought off, maybe this evil old man and his pals really believe it. As always, you be the judge.

Spiritual War

 

If it wasn't already obvious it should be now, we're in a spiritual war of light v. dark, good v. evil, God v. satan. A combat in which wickedness in high places seeks our ruin. So with humility entreat the heavenly host and its Archangelic Prince:

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

And because the prowling beast hates Latin:

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. While recent attention has been focused on Dr. Anthony Fauci's National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding the genetic manipulation of bat coronaviruses in the same town as the bat coronavirus pandemic emerged, a bipartisan group of lawmakers have demanded answers over 'sick' experiments on drugged puppies, according to The Hill.

"Our investigators show that Fauci’s NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive," writes nonprofit organization the White Coat Waste Project. "They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies."

 

Wow. These people are sick.

Here we are, on Holy Saturday, and the body of our Savior lies in the tomb, the fourteenth station. Consider this, by George Herbert:

Trump Talks Life

Can you imagine a US president or for that matter any leader of a major Western power, unashamedly, brazenly acknowledging their faith in God and the sanctity of human life, speaking out against abortion? Hard to to imagine, isn't it, but that's exactly what 45 did yesterday at the March For Life. He talked life.

For the first time ever a US president addressed the March in person, standing for God and against infanticide. Unthinkable during the last administration, which was notoriously hand-in-glove with Sanger's eugenicist, racist Planned Parenthood, and apparently unthinkable to every other president since the fateful Roe v. Wade ruling in 1973.

So at last we have a leader who's unashamedly pro-life and against the Pink Moloch demon who's infested the culture of what was once Christendom. Does this make 45 a new Constantine, a ruling defender of the faith in the face of today's neo-pagan heathen?

Some say yes, though I'd argue the prize belongs to Putin who champions the Church and is, to boot, a Mass going catholic Christian, Byzantine style. Trump? Something less than that but still, he's nailed his colors to the mast and they're for God, life, and the country he serves.

The Opposition, on the other hand, are precisely against all of this. They hate our country, the West, its spirituality and religion, its life itself. They want to destroy all of this, they are the playthings of the Devil, which is why they gleefully applaud murdering babies at the point of birth and beyond.

It's become, as it's always been, a fight of good against evil, of light against darkness. Go for light and do not waver.
