No, I am not heartened, because that graphic is spot on. They really are that stupid. They live in a self constructed world view, a bubble, a house of cards. They have no clue, and they will not stop. Ever.
Yes, CW2 has already started. Until now, is has been a war of words and bike locks upside the head. If it goes hot, IMHO it will last until next Tuesday. It will be a replay of the Little Bighorn, only we will be the Indians, well armed, and the left will be Custer, still armed with single shot rifles.
The main reason it hasn't gone hot yet, it that as much as the good folks hate what is happening, they also know that once that line is crossed, there is no turning back.
I don't see how it is avoidable.
I don't see organized armies. Sniping, bombings, and terrorist activities probably. More like the troubles around the Vietnam War.
