Peasants, Revolt.

You follow the news, so you know that an anonymous politician, "Congressman X", blew the lid off something which everyone knows, that Washington is a sinkhole of graft, cronyism and corruption.

Congressman X's revelations are based on transcribed discussions spanning several decades and are published as a book, The Confessions of Congressman X, by Mill City Press. Here's some excerpts, via the New York Post and ZeroHedge:

“Like most of my colleagues, I promise my constituents a lot of stuff I can never deliver. But what the hell? It makes them happy hearing it . . . My main job is to keep my job.”

Thought for the future? Don't be ridiculous:

“We spend money we don’t have and blithely mortgage the future with a wink and a nod. Screw the next generation. It’s about getting credit now, lookin’ good for the upcoming election.”

But what about the sheeple?

“Voters are incredibly ignorant. It’s far easier than you think to manipulate a nation of naive, self-absorbed sheep who crave instant gratification . . .”

I like this one best:

“Business organizations and unions fork over more than $3 billion a year to those who lobby the federal government. Does that tell you something? We’re operating a f–king casino.”
Congressman X believes that America is in "irreversible decline and that no one in Washington seems to care... God help us."

Divine intervention aside, the question is, can this be fixed by anything less than a total reset? Let's hope it can, because the reset in question won't be nice when it comes. Not least for our ruling elite overlords.

Smart people are laying in food and ammo. Maybe they're investing in a Compound.

Kick out the JAMS,

The elite GOP's reaction to a Trump nomination is indicative of how fearful the mainstream is of somebody who might just call it for what it is. Keep in mind that these parasites have been bleeding Trump for decades in the endless pay-to-play scheme that they run.

It's the same everywhere - some places are worse than others, and the US has managed to hold it together for a long time despite the obvious problems with trying to keep a republic in place. The republic needs a course correction that involves putting the brakes on $20T in debt. Cruz spoke of it the way a politician would. I think that Trump is serious about it. At least I hope that he is.

Just keep your eye on all of these 'Never Trump' people. Remember them. And never trust them to do the right thing. They are the ones who profit from the way things are now. And the way things are now make the Founding Fathers spin in their graves.

I don't think he's telling us anything we didn't already know. At least some of us do.

I hope so too, LL. But how can our massive debt be fixed without fixing the underlying problem of our money itself, which is created as debt at interest and for profit by a privately owned bank, the Fed?

Well, getting the country producing things again and being energy self-sufficient would be a step in the right direction.

Couldn't agree more, Fredd. Let's hope that spin comes to a halt.

At least some of us, Adrienne. But it's helpful to hear it from a pol, I think. Of course it'd be good if one of the "inner circle" would blow the whistle on Hillary -- but they'd run the risk of ending up dead. Let's see that indictment, please.

Reminds me of the wizard of Id comic from years ago, a recurring theme, jester runs in "Sire the peasants are revolting" the king replies smugly "yes they certainly are "

King = Obama

I was thinking that very same thought, Egyptian.

I would be more impressed if Congressman X could use a real name, but I am disquieted all the same.

In 1776 you lot dumped Britain because you didn't like monarchy and the aristocracy, in 2016 you have woken up to the fact that the USA now possesses its home-grown version of both.

It is disquieting, Padre. Pass the pitchforks.

It's like that, Anonymous, but perhaps "kleptocracy" defines it better?

Forget "Congressman X" and its fake controversy. Instead read a real banned book “America Deceived III” by a real outlaw author.
Last link of “America Deceived III” before it is completely censored:

Thanks for the link, Anonymous.

We can't blame washington. They are only doing what they know the public will let them get away with.

Sad.

Maybe they'll wake up. And maybe Hillary'll get indicted.
