Bob Weir's Dead

Wow, at 78, and what can I say? Rest in peace Mr. Weir, and may your purgatory not involve those awful shorts you were so fond of. Yes, it's a journey in holiness, pierced through with cleansing fire. Spiritual journey aside, how could anyone, much less "Bob," play alongside Garcia? Good question.

Probably because Jerry was an easy going guy and wanted to boost his shorts wearing pal. Whatev, here's ACE and Looks Like Rain:

Bob Weir, rest in peace,

The Music Of The Church

The Western Rite, dear friends, has beautiful music and it's part of our inheritance, an inheritance which has been trashed by the vandals who took control of our worship some 50 years ago. Out went plainsong, in came banalsong, nylon vestments and industrial attack language vernacular. The argument was and is simple, unless we ape secular fashion and trend we won't appeal to all the secularists.

So, get rid of our liturgy and music and all those disbelievers will come flocking to church, just you wait and see. Well, we've waited and we've seen, they haven't, go figure, step back in utter dumbfounded amazement. Vatican Two? Empty the pew. But all's not lost, listen to the Sisters of Aquinas sing the Veni Creator.

What is that, a seven person schola/choir? I tell you, If my country missions had even a four part equivalent people would drive for tens and tens of miles to worship with them, no kidding. We would stand out in the beauty of holiness, a beauty which the world and all of us badly need.

Surely a 4 person plainsong choir could be achieved, even in rural Texas, right here for the glory of God. That said, you might be surprised to know how hard such a thing is to achieve. Praise bands? Different story. But I won't bang on.

Veni,

Unforgiven

I present this to you, the punter, as a kind of cinematic parable, and because I like it. Widescreen.

Make of it what you will.

The Persians Are Revolting

It looks as though the Mullahs are about to go down in an Iran which will soon become Persia again. Thousands, some report millions, are on the streets protesting an Islamist regime which rose to power with the unholy help of Marxists in 1979. Nioh Berg reports on social media:

I can't overstate how monumental tonight is, as someone who has followed every major uprising since 2009.

The islamic regime has always fallen back on two things when pressured into a corner:

1) Communication blackout

2) Mass murder

This has always worked in the past, silencing Iranians into going home battered, scared and traumatised.

This time however, Iranians responded to both 1 and 2 by coming out in even greater numbers. This has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I tell you this as someone who saw the images of Neda Agha-Soltan's dying breaths in 2009, who saw the 2017 uprising crushed, who saw the 2019 November blackout and massacre, who saw the 2022 uprising fizzle into nothing after relentless oppression.

Not only has this movement not died out - for the first time there is a commanding leader and a guiding voice who makes calls and decisions for his people. He is the Shah of Iran, and the vast majority of Iran has proven to want him back on the throne. Nobody can deny this any longer.

And now, we have a unified Iran defying regime blackouts AND regime massacres, organising and fighting back, inflicting real and devastating casualties. There has been nothing like this ever. The regime did not expect people to come back out.

I repeat: This wasn't supposed to happen. This is a living nightmare for the mullahs and all their cheerleaders.

I don't know what happens next. All I know is this has moved from an uprising to a revolution.

You'll be unsurprised to know that protestors are burning down mosques, torching government buildings and going hard in the streets. You'll also be amazed to know that the BBC hasn't covered this revolution; surely they wouldn't want to offend the Islamo-Marxist vote on their home turf.

Thanks to Elon Musk and Starlink, the revolution's televised on X, the same platform Kier Starmer and his merry band of Crescent Moon Bolsheviks want to ban in the UK. Odd that, ain't it.

Me? I never thought I'd say this, given ancestral rivalry stretching back to the days of Alexander the Great, but Godspeed to the Persians.

Your Texan Friend,

LSP

++++

The Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, issued this request tonight on social media:

Mr. President, this is an urgent and immediate call for your attention, support, and action. Last night you saw the millions of brave Iranians in the streets facing down live bullets. Today, they are facing not just bullets but a total communications blackout. No Internet. No landlines.

Ali Khamenei, fearing the end of his criminal regime at the hands of the people and with the help of your powerful promise to support the protesters, has threatened the people on the streets with a brutal crack down. And he wants to use this blackout to murder these young heroes.

I have called the people to the streets to fight for their freedom and to overwhelm the security forces with sheer numbers. Last night they did that. Your threat to this criminal regime has also kept the regime’s thugs at bay. But time is of the essence. The people will be on the streets again in an hour. I am asking you to help.

You have proven and I know you are a man of peace and a man of your word. Please be prepared to intervene to help the people of Iran.

Following the Pahlavi's statement protests intensified, with many of those taking to the streets in their thousands chanting for the Shah's return.

Situation developing, unless you're a vastly overpaid member of the Rainbow Commie BBC.

The Most Albertan Man In The World

Let's take a break from deranged lesbian poet persyns getting shot, an Oreshnik hitting Lvov, the BBC's risible failure to cover Persians overthrowing their hated Islamic overlords and French people getting sent to gaol for "cyber bullying" Macron's husband figure.

Yes, they accused, ahem, Brigitte, of being a man and got sent to prison. Truth apparently hurts. But enough of that, move on to something more uplifting, like Albertan independence. Check it out.

And again.

Reliable sources in Canada's Cow Town tell me they've had enough of Ottawa, and who can blame them. Imagine how prosperous Albertans would be if they weren't shackled to the Rainbow Stasi State which bleeds them dry, supposedly for their own benefit. As in, "Look here, rich province, send all your money to the poor provinces, like Quebec, and then you'll be richer."

Classic Leftist logic, the poorer you are, the richer you'll be, just wait and see. Not unlike Climate Change, when you think on it. Oh look, it's so much hotter now, which is why it's colder. So pay us moar tax.

C'mon, Alberta break free,

LSP

Renee Not So Good

Who is this "Krassenstein" persyn anyway, if that's his real name, which we doubt. JDV? Different story, rock on. In related news, a lesbian poetess who drove her car from Missouri to Minneapolis to harass ICE agents got shot while trying to run over one of the agents she tried to harass and kill. Renee leaves behind her a wife, not that women can have wives, and a child.

What a tragedy. All she/her was/were had to do was look after her kid, not get infected by the woke mind virus, not drive to an ersatz "workers revolt" in Minny and attempt to run over ICE agents. Simple. But no, Renee couldn't do that. Her faux wife figure's evidently upset about this and blames zhirself. Maybe she should.

So look, Leftists, at what you've caused. A woman's dead because of your Kool-Aid agitprop and a child's left without its Mother. All because you want to yawningly larp at civil rights in 2026. You'll note, dear readers, all three of you, that people of color aren't turning out in their hundreds of thousands for this Lesbyterian martyr. Why would they? That in mind, what utter carnage the Left and its bankster sponsors have wreaked upon our once civilized society.

Here, look what they took from us:

Point being, we don't have to live this way, surrounded by ugliness, violence, grift, graft, fraud, skulduggery and malfeasance, to say nothing of a valueless secular void. Look, even the classical pagans were better than us, at least their cities and associated art were beautiful. I won't bang on, you get the point.

In the meanwhile, the Left's howling, shrieking, getting shot, and breaking out in hives because the US is actually obeying its own laws and enforcing immigration controls. Since when, fellow psychonauts, did a country having a border become Fascist?

Your Pal,

LSP

Trump Goes Full Godzilla

As reported by Infowars. Remember, kids, you heard it here first. Ahem, accreditation?

You know the news so I won't comment, but what an anthem. And c'mon, AJ, credit where it's due. We're all in it together for Texas and the free world, right?

Yours,

LSP

Fortunate Son

And just like that, an anti-war hippie toon becomes an helicopter assault anthem. Wow. Get. It. On. And don't say Rat Claw. Hey, here it is, ride on.

Some people are saying, "Look what you can do when you're actually allowed to fight." Others are saying, "What next?" Good question.

Here at the Compound we pooled our geostrategic brains and came up with this. Rainbow Fortress Europa is clearly a lost cause, irrelevant. They can't even power their own homes much less industry, despite all their windmills, transexual surgery, and solar panels. That leaves America, Russia and Chyna.

How unpleasant

A tripartite world or, if you care to be classical, a Triumvirate. That in mind, how will the US, hegemon that it clearly is, deal with 30T$+ in debt? Simple. Reset the currency with a Trump Mark, backed by gold obviously, and go from there. One fiat, dear friends, deserves another.

In the meanwhile, Great Britain's well behind the 8 Ball, sunk in self-loathing for its glorious past. What can we say?

Curzon Forever,

Benefits Of A Small Country Town

Behold the bucolic boulevards of Olde Texas

There was a time, dear friends, and not so long ago, when I'd have laughed at you for suggesting I'd end up in rural North Central Texas. "Ha, ha!" I'd exclaim, "Don't be stupid." Well the joke was on me and almost 18 years later here we are. Complaining? No, thanking God.

You see, here in the country the air's clear, the pace of life slower and more human, and, let's be honest, it's often more convenient. Say you want to go to the post office, DMV, police station, dry cleaners, supermarket or any of those things. Guess what, just a two minute drive or short walk away.

Don't you dare trespass. That's a positive.

That in mind, the rig caught a nail in the front door passenger side wheel and was slowly losing air. In the metrosprawl? All kinds of hassle. Here? Call up Tom's Tire after Morning Prayer (1928 BCP, thank you very much) and ask, "Hey, can you fix my tire, it's got a nail." Sure, they reply, bring it over. And so I did, easy, country style. And then?

Walked back home along the leafy boulevards of Olde Texas, answered church emails and then, after a call from the shop, wandered back again to the land of tires and trucks. "That'll be 40 bucks, Mr LSP, here's the nail." I gazed at the offending nail, "Appreciate you, man," and that was that.

Miserable Offender

Easy. Everything would've been harder in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston. It might have been forbidden in Austin, San Francisco, London or Paris, but here in Hill County all was well. Did you know, punters, that Hill County Texas was, apparently, neutral ground for various warring tribes before we arrived in force?

All best for the great Feast of the Epiphany.

All Hail Texas,

LSP

Aaaaand He's Gone

Tim Waltz, Governor of Somalia Minnesota, the very same he/him man that ran as Vice President on the Kamala Harris ticket, has told the world he's not running for reelection. Can't think why, because he was so awesome, apart from massive, egregious levels of vote importation fraud, skulduggery and malfeasance. All masquerading as compassion and tolerance. Try not to throw up in your mouth.

What the Devil is This?

And so it seems that Mogadishu Tim's decided to retire from the cursus, but not before the damage was done. Viz. Importing hundreds of thousands of Allahu-Snackbar votes into Minnesota, of all places. How did such an utterly unlikely thing happen, as in hordes of desert Moslem savages being welcomed into the ice-bound Mid West?

Libby Lane Bishop Figure of the Diocese of Derby. Don't say some kind of joke

Doktor Swankenstein, who knows about such things, suggests suicidal empathy brought on by rainbow Lutheranism. Not, when you reflect for a second, unlike the Episcopal Church, the Church of England, United Methodists, Presbyterians and apostate Romans.

To him, Boye

Be that as it may. If we can launch a carrier group at VZ, capture its president and his wife and kill all his Cubans, all of that, why can't we sort out the traitors and Globalist Shill Illuminati criminals in our midst, on our home turf.

Good question, right?

Damme,

LSP

PS. Waltz was always a pathetic joke. Democrats, hire a better PR firm.

Today Venezuela, tomorrow Greenland? Katie Miller suggests "SOON" on  social media, provoking Denmark to freak out and swallow its tongue. This will be the end of NATO! they rage and fume. What if nobody with an actual army happens to care.

Then there's Canada, waiting to be liberated from commie oppression. Except maybe Ontario, which can exist in a Rainbow Utopia all of its own. Also the UK, just waiting to be freed from socialist sock puppet Kier Starmer and his merry band of bolsheviks. But maybe that's too far afield, for now.

Have to take care of our own backyard first, you see.

Cheers,

LSP
