Let That Sink In

 

Like him, love him, hate him, the world's richest man wins a prize for top level alpha trolling. Yes, Elon Musk strolled into Twitter's swanky hi-tech millionaire socialist HQ in San Franscisco carrying a sink. "Let that sink in," tweeted Musk in a typical bout of internet jollity as he prepared to take over the leftist social media giant.

But Elon wasn't kidding, let the firings begin. Per Zerohedge:

Just minutes after the world's richest man has reportedly closed the $44 billion deal, The NYTimes reports that, according to sources that declined to be identified, the Twitter executives who were fired include:

            Parag Agrawal, Twitter’s chief executive.

            Ned Segal, the chief financial officer.

            Vijaya Gadde, the top legal and policy executive,

            (censorship czar) 

            Sean Edgett, the general counsel.

At least one of the executives who was fired was escorted out of Twitter’s office, they said.

 

Where will they go, these fired multi-millionaire tech socialists , Tik Tok, Meta, Linkedin, Pinterest? Who knows, maybe they'll just retire on their severance. According to Zero, Agrawal is set to receive  $38.7 million, Segal is set to receive $25.4 million and Vijaya Gadde will leave with $12.5 million. Nice payback, eh?

And what cost socialism. Some pigs, gentle readers, are more equal than others or to put it another way, "the bell tolls for the end of the first chapter of Twitter's life as a deep state narrative-enabling machine." Let's see how that works out.

Trudeau Calls Jewish MP Nazi

 

Justin Trudeau went full everyone I don't like is Hitler on Wednesday in Canada's Parliament, accusing Jewish MP Melissa Lantsman of supporting Nazism. Her crime? 

Supporting Canadians' right to protest and accusing the Prime Minister of fanning "the flame of an unjustified national emergency." When "did the Prime Minister lose his way?" she asked with brazen NSDAP temerity.

Trudeau, popularly known as Justine, ripped back, "Conservative Party members can stand with people who wave swastikas. They stand with people who wave the Confederate flag." Lantsman, whose grandparents survived the holocaust, was unimpressed and demanded an apology on social media.

I think the Prime Minister should think long and hard about his own history before singling out a Jewish Member of Parliament and falsely accusing me of standing with a Swastika. What a disgraceful statement unbecoming of anyone in public office - he owes me an apology. #cdnpoli

Do you remember the old phrase, "It's a free country"? Unlike, say, the old Soviet Union or today's China. That in mind, you'd think our Rulers would think twice before turning Washington DC into a modern variant of the Forbidden City. But no, apparently not.

Perhaps they believe their own marketing and genuinely think that 26k+ soldiers are needed to protect the sacred space of our hallowed governance from crazed mobs of, ahem, Proud Boys and people with the letter Q on their shirts. Yeah, and Joe Biden really got 80 million votes.

No, this is a show of force which says, we own you, we're in power and don't you even think of disputing that. And people on the Left somehow believe they're anti-establishment. Far out. Fish? No. Boat? Yes

Thanks to some good friends I got on a boat today. It was awesome, we went out on the lake in search of fish, even though it was freezing.

Lures, slabs, spoons, you name it, all went in. No shortage of effort on our part. But were the fish biting? Good question.

No, they were not. Should've brought a box of worms. Still, big fun to zoom about on the lake which used to be the Brazos before it was dammed. And there's no harm whatsoever in getting outside instead of staring in weird consternation at the still unrolling coup attempt against our President.

So much for democratic process. But of course the Left has never been about this and it isn't now, they want power, total power by any means necessary. This, they think, will bring about a utopia in which the reign of The Man is at last brought to an end.

To be replaced by what, exactly? Images of Millionaire Socialist Nancy Pelosi (MSNP) getting a blow dry while ordering hair salons shut spring to mind. Hey, all pigs are created equal but some more Viking fridge equal than others.

Hate Speech

Hate speech. The scourge of our time. It's just like the 1940s with millions of people being tortured and killed in gulags and KZs by words. That's right, violent, hate-filled words. Except they weren't, they were being killed by actions and they are today, ask a Christian in, say, Mosul.

Point being that words, in and of themselves, don't hurt anyone. Try it for yourself, say the most hateful words you can imagine, such as all Blue Heelers must die! and see if a single Blue drops dead because of your hate speech. Trust me, they'll probably look at you and beg for treats.

Where does that leave the heinous crime of hate speech? Let's cut to the chase and go Orwell. It's an attempt to erase thought crime, the precursor to real crime. And that's just it, hate speech, objectionable as it is, isn't a crime and the attempt to control our thoughts by force is. Where will it end? Let's guess.
