No This Is Not Sexy

Those merry satanic pranksters are at it again, this time in Michigan where the Satanic Temple's set up a Baphomet Goat Skull Idol, right in time for Christmas. All very Mr. Rogers festive cheer as Christians around the world get ready to celebrate the birth of Christ, but it didn't take long for a Democrat to get down and dirty on the Horned God.

Democrat staffer Samantha Storka wasted no time kissing the idolatrous Goat Skull Idol (GSI), posting on social media,  “In the name of Satan, I claim the sexy satanic baphomet [SIC.] goat altar at OUR Michigan Capitol. Amen.”

Storka later deleted her Devil Witch post on Elon Musk's X but didn't hesitate to follow up her Baphomet worship with a shout-out to pagans, "Don’t forget to wish a Pagan a happy Yule and a bright solstice."

You'll be utterly amazed to know that Michigan Democrats passed legislation allowing abortion up to the point of birth. Here at the Compound we wonder why they don't advance the date of child sacrifice to birth itself, or beyond. Good pagan practice.

Just remember, kids, it's all a larf until the Wicker man's on fire and you're inside.

Out Demons Out,

LSP

It's all fun and games until the Legions chase down your happy pagan arse and put you to the sword, spear, crucifix and stake.

How does this not compare equally legally to a Menorah, Ten Commandments or a Nativity scene?

I hate leftists. With a burning passion only fueled by hot tar and gasoline.d

Right with you, fella. It's perhaps... visceral.

Post-pregnancy abortion, tres chic. Well, if the process is so wholesome, then presumably Samantha won't mind being first.

Wild, what beats me is I had this very same discussion 30++ years ago with women I know today and guess what, they all said kill the child post birth.

WTAF?

Fellow, I say again, driven insane by Satan.

Skorka, not Storka. It’s a Polish name. Definitely 100% Polish. Pure unadulterated Polish!

Well, you can put up a theatrical satanic cosplay display on govt property, and you can put up a menorah on govt property. But if you put up something of Christian symbology in public, then you’ll be forced to take it down, likely sued, and possibly prosecuted. Or did you mean that rhetorically?

I was in Penn Station (NYC) the other day. Next to the waiting lounge was an electric menorah with a sign that said “AMTRAK wishes you a Happy Chanukah”. But not one word about Christmas, and not one Christian symbol. Because THAT would be oppressive and hateful. (I’m not Christian, incidentally. Sorry to say this at your place, Parson, but I’m deeply suspicious of all Abrahamic religions. But the point is that my complaint is not butthurt pro-Christian partisanship. I just hate hypocrisy and inconsistency, and the odds are real good that the person suing over a Christian display? Well, guess what kind of display s/he supports?)

Crusty Old TV Tech here. The Establishment Clause only applied to the CENTRAL (Federal) gummint, not to the States, at least as originally intended. Maryland was to be a mostly Catholic State, Taxachusetts for the Puritans, etc. The problem comes when the Central Government pushes a religion, as it now does (atheistic socialism, if not communism, which is as much a religion as any). With no confessional States in the Union, there is no countervaling spiritual force broadly animating the people of the various States to balance the power of the now gargantual Central Government. You get communism and Marxism down that road. With no Senators serving at the pleasure of the States, no countervaling force from the political direction, either.

That having been said, may you each enjoy a Blessed and Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! Thanks LSP for your efforts in pushing back the darkness of these days.

Fortunately, we Deplorable miscreants have Al Gore's invention to say, loud and clear, "This is not right!" While of no immediate benefit to society, I believe, in time, it will accelerate the pendulum swinging back.

Mike, I haven't been to Penn Station in years! Now I want to return, perversely.

And yes, can't have Christian displays for Christmas because Christianity's the MAN, the Fascist, Nazi, Oppressor MAN.

The Bolsheviks fell upon the icons in 1970, tearing at them with their nails, like enraged beasts.

No change there, then.

The Jews demanded that Jesus be executed for unspecified crimes even through the Romans found that he hadn't executed Roman law.

It's the sort of kangaroo court we're familiar with in America today.

I'm thrilled that people aren't chasing me down to nail me to a cross, but it's vanity to expect better than He got for telling the truth.

LL, at the risk of being preachy, we must all go to the Cross.

The math isn't hard. As members of the Mystical Body of Christ we're joined to our Savior, we must go where he goes. He goes to Calvary and from there to the empty tomb and Ascension, to paradise itself.

He takes us with himself on this upwards path to glorification but, and it's a big but, we have to do our part and say yes to the call and live the assent. The Virgin, famously, is our exemplar in this, "Be it unto me according to thy word." So easy to say, so hard to do.

But of course you know all this. Carry on.
