Everything's Just Fine

Except that it's not. Standby, punters, for rough and stormy seas ahead. You might even want to lay in food, water and ammo. But what am I saying, you are already. Result, and don't worry, if it's not needed you can always give to the poor who are always with us.

Hero

Seriously, I'm getting a disaster vibe, not unlike early 2020. Remember when we ran out of food and toilet paper? Amplify that by a factor of clown world insanity and do yourself a favor, get prepped up and sharpen the kukri.

In the meanwhile, Archbishop Vigano continues to rock.

Disaster Vibe. Me too. Starting with big product shortages and higher prices. Much worse if you happen to live where one of the satanic puke stains is running things.

Looking really bad, Kid, imo. Good luck, Dem cities.

Same here. Every day waiting for the shoe to drop. It struck me the other day that part of it is the seeming normalcy, the cluelessness of people going about their day like nothing is amiss. Perhaps part of that is because we live in the metrosprawl (yeah, yeah, I know) but still...

Two of our neighbors are native Texans. They are good folks, right minded, and I get along with them fine. But if I were to ask them which fire lane they want to cover when the mobs come down the street, the answer would be deer in the headlights.

Tell, don't ask. Everyone with combat experience is going to have to be a trainer for people like me.

RHT447: It's not difficult. "Your area is bounded by that tree and that tree. Kill everything that gets between those trees." Or the white house and the yellow house. That fire plug and the street intersection.

@ raven--

Your point taken. I am ready and will to do just that. My point being that for my said neighbors, things have not gotten bad enough for them (yet) to start thinking in those terms. I have made a few gentle sideways remarks over time to feel them out, and it was obvious that they are still in a "vote harder" state of mind. We shall see.

Wife and I born, raised, and raised our kids in California. We escaped Kalifornia for Texas in 2015. Our current juxtaposition feels odd. I have been acquainted during my life with a few folks who escaped communism. At the time, I thought I understood. Now, I get it.

It feels like the Jimmy Carter years, on meth.

I'm not getting a disaster vibe, but...........I'm still preparing a bit more. I keep the domicile pretty well stocked under normal circumstances so it didn't take much to fill a few gaps.

And, as long as the electricity stays on I'll be listening to my "new" Bose Wave radio/CD player. Outstanding! I bought a reconditioned one directly from Bose. New is not an available at this time. Furthermore, I just got Legends of the Fall and Greatest Hits of Procul Harum to add to my music. Today the big A is delivering Once Upon a Time in the West. Life is good!

Ah, RHT, to your point, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:26-27).

Like no kidding. It'll hit like a thief in the night. Fire lanes? Or to put it another way, anyone for PT? We must be fit, physically and spiritually. OK, aim high :)

Raven, I think it'll come down to point and shoot. But what do I know, just a LSP.

Right with you, Sgt.

Mr. RHT, congrats on your escape for Kailfornia! Let's meet up soon, for a shoot.

It sure does, WSF, wildly outta control.

Adrienne, now I'm uplifted. Congrats on the Bose, always wondered what they sound like. Nice one.
