I hope that all is well with the recruit and that boot camp is beginning that transformation from belching civilian to lean, mean, push-up doing warrior.
The recruit seemed in great form the other day on the 'phone, the Army seems to agree with him. Of course he has to pass a pft on Friday or he gets to go to the "push up platoon"... To avoid this salutary fate he tells me he's been "doing hundreds" every day. Good, that's the spirit.
