Happy Thanksgiving! And you'll forgive the team for going down a beef route as opposed to turkey. A small standing rib and thank you very much. It's resting now, as the Yorkshire Pudding gets fired up.
Seeing as there's a break in the proceedings, here's some martial music to stir the spirit. To the beat of the drum.
God bless you all and have a great time with family and friends.
Your Old Pal,
LSP

Amen and God bless you all, Parson.
I was thinking of something like that for Christmas. A roast, or perhaps even fish of some sort...
If you were Scots, you'd be piping in the roast. They do that a lot, I guess. Wearing a dress, chewing on a cat's tail to make it yowl and calling that music.
Rib roast. Yum!
Thank you, Parson.
I never want to see another carb as long as I live.
Hope your Thanksgiving was thankful, LSP
God bless you...
Thanks, Linda. I think roast beef beats turkey. Mind you, I like the turkey tradition, so... hope you had a beautiful day!
To the beat of the drum and the swirl of Mad Mike Hoare, LL. I like pipe music, btw, and find it martial.
Still, I'm not saying it'll disturb the DLC Mess as we get down to the serious business of pounding the mahogany over vintage port while the Subalterns throw darts at Hillary targets.
Lock her up.
So tasty, WSF! Medium rare and just the ticket.
Bless you, drjim.
Adrienne, it was a great Thanksgiving and all the better for BEEF instead of TURKEY. Fairly quiet too, which I liked.
Hope you've recovered!
The turkey tradition has its place. And we have roasted, grilled and fried them.
But a roast is something I know will be (can be) eaten by everyone for the first meal and the leftovers. :)
We had great weather. Everyone was able to eat - ended up patronizing a buffet at an establishment that was open - and had a good meal and good conversation. :)
70 this weekend. Flea market time!
