Russian strongman and former KGB Colonel, Vladimir Putin, gave the King of Bahrain a stallion when the monarch visited Russia, and received a sword made from fine Damascus steel and precious metal.
The horse is called Khadjibek and is an Akhal-Teke, a breed known for speed, endurance and intelligence.
In 2010, Russia gave Barack Obama a Blue Ray disc set mounted in a wooden display box, and is now in control of Damascus, unlike Obama, who isn't.
Many argue that Vladimir Putin is the New Constantine.

I like the sword much better than a box blue ray set of old Russian WW2 propaganda films, but that's me.
I agree, and note that Obama hasn't been given a horse. But really, what would he do with a horse. Rainbow Unicorn? Different story.
I'm sure that he'd be afraid of the horse. It's good of Putin to be thoughtful in that way and just give him a few inexpensive DVD's.
A kind of courtesy, perhaps.
Can you imagine the 0 riding a horse? You've seen him ride a bike so just imagine. He is the ultimate gamma. Now, the First Wookie would be able to ride a horse, no doubt.
That was helpful, Robert. Now I have this image of the 1st Wookie, tearing down on horseback. Scary, by anyone's reckoning.
I stand duly abashed.
But in fairness, we're dealing with terrifying prospects all 'round.
