Raise The Black Flag And Ride Hard

Was Colonel Quantrell Quantrill a psycho killer whose methods went too far, or just another States Rights loyalist? I'd argue a bit of both, but hey, your call.

In the meanwhile, we appear to be heading into some kind of corporate sponsored civil war. Where do you stand, with the transgender, globalist Maoists and their Blue Chip allies or with something else?

I vote Quantrill, but that's just me. Your call.

Transfiguration

You're thinking, Trans? Whoa, LSP, easy tiger! But no, this post has nothing to do with the Bolshevik drivel which passes for human thought these days. On the contrary, it's about our Lord's Transfiguration on Tabor.

There, on the holy mountain, Christ shone like the Sun but brighter still. So too may we. Is there a goal of greater worth? No, it's the pearl of great price, the treasure hid in a field.

O GOD, who on the mount didst reveal to chosen witnesses thine only-begotten Son wonderfully transfigured, in raiment white and glistening; Merficully grant that we, being delivered from the disquietude of this world, may be permitted to behold the King in his beauty, who with thee, O Father, and thee, O Holy Ghost, liveth and reigneth, one God, world without end. Amen.

God bless,

And They're Back! Stand Firm

No, not the legendary space rock outfit Hawkwind, but Stand Firm in Faith. Good work, kids, back better and more compelling than ever before.

Well done, Team, more is more.

General Flynn Writes

We are witnessing a vicious assault by enemies of all that is good, and our president is having to act in ways unprecedented in decades, maybe centuries.
The biblical nature of good versus evil cannot be discounted as we examine what is happening on the streets of America.
It’s Marxism in the form of antifa and the Black Lives Matter movement versus our very capable and very underappreciated law enforcement professionals, the vast majority of whom are fighting to provide us safe and secure homes, streets and communities.
When the destiny of the United States is at stake, and it is, the very future of the entire world is threatened.
As Christians, shouldn’t we act? We recognize that divine Providence is the ultimate judge of our destiny. Achieving our destiny as a freedom-loving nation, Providence compels us to do our part in our communities.
It encourages us in this battle against the forces of evil to face our fears head-on. No enemy on earth is stronger than the united forces of God-fearing, freedom-loving people.
We can no longer pretend that these dark forces are going to go away by mere prayer alone. Prayers matter, but action is required.
This action is needed at the local, state and federal levels. Action is also required in the economic, media, clerical and ecclesiastical realms.
Decide how you can act within your abilities. Stand up and state your beliefs. Be proud of who you are and what you stand for. And face, head-on, those community “leaders” who are willing to allow dark forces to go beyond peaceful protests and destroy and violate your safety and security.
Churches and houses of worship must return to normal. We invite everyone of goodwill to not shirk their responsibilities and instead act in a fraternal fashion. If for no other reason or with no other ability, act in a spirit of charity.
We cannot disrespect or disregard natural law along with our own religious liberties and freedoms.
I am witnessing elderly people lose their connection to all that is good in their lives: connections to their faith, their families and their individual freedoms, especially the simple act of attending church, something they’ve been doing for decades.
Let us not be intimidated or fear those who cry out that we are in the minority; we are not.
Good is always more powerful and will prevail over evil.
However, evil will succeed for a time when good people are divided from each other and their personal lives — children away from their teachers, preachers from their congregations, customers from their local businesses.
America will never give in to evil. Americans work together to solve problems.
We do not and should not ever allow anarchy and the evil forces behind it to operate on any street in our nation.
No one should have to fear for their very life because some dark, disturbed force is challenged by the very essence of what America stands for.
We are “one nation under God” and it is our individual liberties that make us strong, not liberties given to our government. Our government has no liberty unless and until “we the people” say so.
God bless America and let’s stand by everything that was and is good in our lives, in our communities and in our country.
Otherwise, America as the true North Star for humanity will cease to exist as we know it.

Well said, General Flynn.

Mongol Rock - The Hu

Day 9 in Coronavirus Isolation: I have discovered Mongolian rock and my life will never be the same.

Yes, we do requests at the Compound and this one's from my old pal GWB, a Shaolin Master in Georgia. Mongolian rock. Who knew, and now we do.

Fall upon your enemies and destroy them, utterly.

Your Friend,

Just Strolling About in The Plague Year

Blue picked up a Shadow Wolf on the way to the Pick 'n Steal this morning. A ferocious beast and I'm glad he's an ally.

And I wasn't complaining about the trees either, takes the edge right off the heat.

Not that it matters at First Methodist because they're shut, for fear the Bat Bug will kill them all. Which it hasn't, fortunately.

Blue enjoys his spot at the PNS, where he sits tethered to the always empty Star Telegram box. Why is it empty? Because no one wanted to buy the rubbish newspaper so the order wasn't kept up, but the box remains, a dusty, dystopic warning to the "press."

Behold the misbegotten debris of the modern age!

And needless to say, First Baptist decided to make war on their ancient enemy, the trees. And now a once leafy boulevard sits baking under a harsh Texan sun. Good work, guys. Get rid of all the shade.

We detoured around the Meth Shack to visit Genius Patrol. GP are two dogs who live in someone's back yard and bark insanely at anything which goes by. Sometimes I talk to them, they bark back.

Then it was back to the Compound, mission accomplished. And that, fellow boulevardiers, is the story of that.

God bless,

Insurgency Defeated

It was a normal morning at the Compound. There I was, drinking coffee on the porch when one of the team came by.

What's this, LSP, some kind of  JWTS ? (Jungle Warfare Training School)
No, Chief, just a hedge.
Hunh. Looks like an insurgency to me.

With that, the man responsible for setting up various police forces in various parts of the world stalked through the undergrowth to church, leaving me sharpening a kukri and feeling guilty.

Yes, the DLC (Dallas Light Cavalry) is an irregular unit, perhaps especially at HQ itself, but there are standards. Insurgency? Mutiny? Zero tolerance.

So I fired several lazy sepoys and a couple of Mau-Mau out of a canon and picked up the hedge trimmer myself. It was fast and furious work, I can tell you, but in remarkably short order the green mutiny was at an end and peace restored. But what is peace?

The tranquility of order, clearly, which the Compound now enjoys along its leafy perimeter.

Carry on,

This And That

A cool breeze is blowing in from the north, and gentle rain turned gold by the evening sun falls on parched grass, hot concrete and spent brass. The smell of rain in a Texan August. Beautiful and rare.

Poetry aside, my eldest boy called this morning to say he'd been promoted to Specialist ahead of schedule. Well done, kid, keep it up. He's currently attached to the 2nd Armored Division and "on mission," which means he has to sit in a comms truck on weekends instead of enjoying Korean nightlife. His Platoon Sergeant's clearly wise.

In other news, Blue Eschaton's slowing down a bit and takes life philosophically, unless steaks or fried pies are on the table. Then everything's different.

Mind how you go,

A Short Sunday Sermon - Power

Every revolutionary movement in history makes the same basic mistake. They see power as a static apparatus, as a structure. That’s how President Xi in China is reintroducing Mao to the masses. Power is dynamic, and has two basic tendencies. It accumulates or it diffuses. Most revolutionary movements are only interested in reconstituting the power in a new location. That doesn’t solve any society’s problems and almost always makes them worse.
The US Constitution and Bill of Rights set up a system that allowed for diffusion of power into the system, not regrouping it. And that doesn’t work for a would be tyrant or system of Tyranny. Benjamin Franklin doubted that we could make it work long term. Maybe we can’t. Redistribution of money to buy votes has a stench all its own.

Accumulate or diffuse. To put it another way, centralized or federal. As noted above, the Founders aimed at the latter with some degree of success, and it's exactly that model which is under threat today and for which the South fought, unsuccessfully.

Gentlemen, you have a Republic if you can keep it.

Here endeth the Lesson,

The Evil Of White Culture

You'll be glad to know the evil of White Culture's being taught at the Smithsonian and around America. Hard work? Bad. Rational thinking? Wicked. Family? Abhorrent. Self-reliance? Evil. Greek, Roman, Judeo-Christian "primacy"? Get out, you Nazis.

Ownership of goods, space and property? Sounds like you're a bit of a Fascist. Speaking and writing English as opposed to pidgen? Wow. Since when did you join the Falange. Be polite? Who are you, Himmler, or would that be Bormann?

Who came up with this infantile drivel? We know, the same evil goon show that brought us the Weather Underground, China's Uncultural Revolution, the Soviet Gulags and Cambodia's pile of skulls. That aside, consider the brazen racism of the thing.

What African farmer doesn't follow time as he plants his crops? Is it only white people who know how to be polite? Ask a Japanese businessman. Hard work, another sin of whiteness, unless you're a Mexican opening and running a shop.

To assume, in a fit of cultural Marxist idiocy that the qualities of a civilized society are only possessed by "white culture" is as aggressively racist as it's stupid.

To suggest that these qualities have been embodied to the fullest extent yet seen in Classical, Judeo-Christian culture, for all its faults, is another thing again.

I'd argue that that's the case, in fact I'll wager the Fighting Monkey on it. But feel free to disagree.

Guinea on the monkey,
