Rebel Inna Woods

Here we are, waiting on the epochal result of a General Election. Is our democratic republic at stake? Some say it is and with good cause. But whichever way it turns out, we have a history of standing up for freedom against tyranny. That's in the US DNA, I think, and to that end here's General Jeff Thompson:

When I give the word boys, let it rip, and that's exactly what they did. So get out there and vote against evil and let the die fall where it will, we'll deal with it ensuing.

Up the Union! Down with the (P)gressives and their enablers. At the base, it is about economics, which is the polite word for greed. Such was the case then; such is the case now.

This is the first presidential election we've had with early voting. As of Sunday, 3/4's of our township had voted early. We're rural and the preference ratio here is probably 3R:1D, at the least.

Wifey and I voted today to keep the cheaters in Wayne County on their toes.

A poor choice of Southern soldier. And perhaps the LSP transplant should stick to his union jack ways and stop acting like he understands the South.

Well said, WSF!

DOS, looks like most of the people here voted rural early too. I voted today and the turn out was pretty scant compared to 2020. Let's see how this evolves.

Well said, Anon, though I like the song and JT's visage. Still, do bear in mind I don't pretend to understand the South, who does? though my Mother's people helped settle Denton. Perhaps that counts as South West, kind of?

Speaking of which, my Great Aunt was driving through Midland in the Wildcatting '20s with my Grandmother, in a Daimler (?!?), for goodness sake, and some guy tries to carjack them. G Aunt produces a revolver from the glove compartment, and off he ran.

Cheers.

And Anon, "who does?" Maybe Faulkner :)

I take silence to mean Yes.
