Dallas On The Skids

What's it like in Dallas, you know, before midnight? It has skaters, so important to keep fit

It has shopping too

And affordable housing

Sometimes shopping and housing come together in a kind of ne'er do well, corrupt symphony

And there you have it,

Glad I was in Ft. Worth last week, instead of Big D!

Even our sall city has homeless camps. Most are along the banks of the Cache la Poudre River on the north end of town and screened by trees.

There are people who choose to live this way. Many people don't believe that.

Sad to see.

I don't go into cities, partly because most them have a weird vibe (Holy Spirit signaling) and there is too much chance of a bad encountered these days as governor's have been removed that keep people in check. I don't need to sit in jail because some Moron Lefty DA decided my self-defense...wasn't.

I live in an area surrounded by live enclaves like Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor.
But I don't see that homeless crap on the streets.

I haven't been in Dallas since 1995, but I remembered it was cleaner and felt "safer" than a lot of the places I went to in SoCal. I think it was mostly because I was working at the DFW airport, and was only in the city to see Dealey Plaza and The Sixth Floor museum.

Anon, Dallas is fairly well put together, for a massive, sprawling, super heated suburb, but these homeless encampments are increasing. Huh.

They're on the rise, WSF. Not good.

There are, Kid, and there's more than a few who simply fall off the planet for one reason or another. Gotta be especially miserable in the heat of the day.

Gotta woer LSP. Makes me think of Sheriff Arpaio's tent city jail in Phoenix.

Pink shorts to wear and pink balogna to eat. or maybe it was green, AND the dog shelter contained within and serviced by the inmates was air conditioned.

As the Sheriff said - "Those dogs didn't do anything wrong!"

And most of the inmates respected him.

Paul, most definitely a weird vibe. It'll get nasty if the water doesn't pump.

Dallas isn't so bad, drjim, but the downtown area's become this big homeless shelter.

As the prophet Rusty Wier has oft warned the flock at times various and sundry, the Devil lives in Dallas. Govern thyself accordingly.

Wild, I take that advice.

What happened to the Sheriff, Kid? I liked him.

The dems poured millions into an anti-Arpiao campaign. They also leveled false charges against him repeatedly. They beat on him for years and finally got it done - or frauded him out.
