SPACE FORCE

We've all felt a bit of a patriotic glow at the the thought of a SPACE FORCE protecting us from orbit, and here at the Compound we hope you enjoy this inspirational video. Space Force? Pump Up The Volume.

But MARRS has evolved. So let's hear it for Jubl and thinking sweet. Some call it "dreampop," others say SPACE FORCE.

Well done, team.

It's important to have theme songs for the new Space Force. And while Space Oddity and Major Tom are both classics, Pump up the Volume works as well with a more optimistic note than the David Bowie classics.

Enjoyed the old footage in the video, though I found myself turning down the volume. The music and I didn't agree. I well recall being trotted to the school auditorium where a TV was set up so the students could watch the first few Mercury launches live.
Back when Disney management was somewhat more rational, they produced this show. It's long, but worth a look if you get a chance. I doubt Walt would be happy with the direction the company's taken.

Much love LL, for once we're in agreement, yr Space Lunettes aside. Speaking of, I nominate the Nomo Heroes-Tel Aviv remix version of Surfing on a Rocket by (the French band) Air. The chorus and accordion arpeggios at the end are bril, especially on superb system. V "space".

I quite like it, LL. A cheerful SPACE FORCE foot tapper!

Ha! Turn Down The Volume, Jim. And the old footage is neat, my parents got me to watch the moon landing and I remember the scene still. Will check out the link.

I like a bit of Air now and again, GL. Nice Space Force nomination.
