After saying Mass at one of the Missions I went out to my truck to drive back to the compound. Dark clouds had rolled in, low and thunderous. Then lightning filled the air and it began to rain. It didn't stop.
Some of you may think that this is a boring story and of little consequence. If you lived here you would not think that.
Right on.

Secession is a complicated sentiment. Particularly in the US, where the Constitution originally set devolved authority to strong state governments that would work to solve the majority of issues facing the nation internally within their own jurisdictions.
That's not how it works to day in the US, and therein lies the root of the dissatisfaction.
"Devolved authority" -- good call.
The document doesn't allow the concentration of power within the hands of a power elite. What happened between then and now is, history.
The Constitution hangs by a thread.
I stand for the Constitution.
We've had enough of the Hillary elites.
Sorry, I know you're a fan of "The Witch"...
Padre, your only teasing the warrior man, right!
I shall say a short prayer for you, just in case you have lost your ever lov'n mind...
I need all the help I can get...
As for The Witch -- I fear that's irredeemable.
I call Hillary "the hag".
Isn't "the witch" part of Justin's legion (for they are many)?
Come to think of it, not a bad title for Jefferts Schori.
I thought that Jefferts-Schori was the alien vampire? It doesn't mean that she can't also be a witch. I mean, the term 'witch' in the present era requires that I ask, 'which witch is which'?
It's sort of like a Harry Potter book - become real - where everyone in the C of E is either a wizard or a witch (or an alien vampire witch).
Which brings us to Austin, and an entirely different level of confusion with the frigging druid hippies who have joined with wicca.
She is. An alien vampire witch. I think we have to be inclusive about this.
And then there's Austin...
