Behold Genius

Speaking of which, Belle Star's Bosque County hideout, aka "farm," is just a few miles from Mission #2. A church friend tells me there's not much there, just shards of brick and debris from the bandit homestead. So the message is clear, get out there and scope it out.

By the same token, sometime's it's best to go armed. We still have that right and I don't see it going away any time soon.

Cheers,

LSP

I note on the county website teh second 'quick link' is to Feral Hog Abatement. . I also found this, (h/t: Wiki):

'The voters at the first election were L. H. Scrutchfield, J. K. Helton, J. N. Mabray, Capt. Underhill, James Mabray, William Gary, Gafey Gary, Isaac Gary, Matt Gary, John Robertson, John Thomas, F. M. Kell, Archie Kell, William McCurry, Jack McCurry, Lum McCurry, Samuel Locker, Nathaniel Morgan, R. S. Barnes, J. P. Locker. They elected the following county officers: L. H. Scrutchfield, Judge; P. Bryant, Sheriff; J. N. Mabray, Clerk; Isaac Gary, Assessor and Collector; Archabal Kell, Treasurer.'

P. Bryant, Sheriff, didn't even bother to vote for himself!

The 19th century had some interesting times and characters. My neighborhood was the hot bed of the Kansas-Missouri Border War and both John Brown and William Quantrill were residents at one time. The community where Quantrill taught school, Stanton(unincorporated), still exists though as far as I know, no trace of the building is left.

Once we give up our guns, the world will become an orgy of peace and love. And home invasion and stuff..

Yep, we've got Adobe Walls up in the Panhandle, sadly on private lands so not open to the public.

The (P)regressive answer to "gun violence" is to be polite and not resist.

LL, when we buy the top floor of the Detroit Caddy thanks to crypto it'll be under one name, Lesco Brandon. While we're at it, the top floor of the GM building (ex Ren Cen) will be ours too.

Overwatch.

Interesting, JC.

Fierce times, Jim. And the history's pretty new to me, tbh, which is odd because my mother's family was involved. In fairness, I was brought up in England. Hmmmmm.

Here's the thing, Kid. No more guns = Unlimited peace.

It'll be like Woodstock but way less violent, except that it won't.

The narrative's getting even more bizarre, satanic and psychotically insane than it was already.

I don't know the Panhandle too well, NFO, but I like the idea of adobe.

It works out so well, WSF.

Seriously, have they been driven insane, by Satan?

Totally agree, Doktor.
