Hmmmmm....copyright 1972. Don't remember anything like this, but I was more into "Omni" magazine, and read "Scientific American" too, back when they still reported on real science....
There are different sorts of groundhogs. And then there is the mighty woodchuck, which is a groundhog, I think. And the prairie dogs are a fraction of the size of the groundhogs. It's so confusing... which of them will save the world?

LOL, that's an oldie but a goody...
Is that a rhetorical question?
In fairness, drjim, the Groundhogs were pretty much a UK thing. I caught on in the '80s and still like to give 'em a spin. McPhee could play.
Ah, LL, I think you've nailed it. The truth, while one, is multifaceted.
Not bad, eh, NFO? I always liked the album art. ScyFy :)
Ed, I think we all know the answer.
Well, DUH! You're such a good Texan, Parson, that I forgot you were from the UK. That would explain why I'd never heard of them...
In fairness, dr, it's kinda obscure...
Who will save the world? I think it will be Meghan Markle when she flies in on her unicorn. If not, I'm happy to step in.
Jules, I think you must.
