Putin Says Christianity Foundation Of Russia

Speaking near the Kremlin,  Vladimir Putin stated that Christianity was “the starting point for the formation and development of Russian statehood, the true spiritual birth of our ancestors, the determination of their identity. Identity, the flowering of national culture and education.”

That's the Russian President, addressing a crowd of thousands of clergy and laity today on the 1030th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity by Russia. And he did so at what was once the epicenter of godless  revolutionary Communism.

As you reflect on that, ask yourself if any other leader of a major world power would be able to say such words, much less believe them. Ask yourself too why the Left hates Putin with visceral intensity.

I say again, Vladimir Putin is a New Constantine.

A fourth Rome there shall never be.

American education is lacking. Russia was a Christian state until the communists destroyed it. It's a Christian state once again, and even if you mention that to the general, ignorant populace, they look at you like a cow looking at a passing train.

I have a difficulty (if not impossibility) to understand the commie/marxist/libtard position that Russia interfered in the election. No one has said exactly how they did such a thing. Common sense, something sorely lacking with the commie/marxist/libtards, dictates that other than actually changing votes there is nothing Russia could do to change our elections. Do those dopes really believe that if not for Russia Hillary would be president?

Like you, I believe they hate Putin because he's Orthodox, just as they hate Catholics. Unfortunately, many of my friends in history club are hooked up with evangelical mega churches who hate Catholics with a burning passion. They cannot see that hating and demeaning Catholics is all part of the plan. I will also say that the infestation of commie/marxist/libtards in the Church is not helping, but that's also part of the plan.

God bless, LSP. Fish on!

LL, it's weird, people really don't get it and I'm not sure why. Partly because the leftist media hates and ignores it, partly because they still feel the Soviets are in charge(?) "coz that's the way it always was" and because they just don't know nuthin.

My fear is that the gen pop can't even CONCEIVE of a Christian nation.

Serious issue, gates of hell notwithstanding.

See you at Chapel Parade!

The "Russia Stole The Election" from Hillary story is the stupidest platform in the history of stupidity ever, Adrienne. Do they really believe it? Good question. Some do, bizarrely, others just go along with the agitprop because they HATE the counter revolution.

Do you ever look at their twitter feeds? Filled with HATE. It's like a hallmark, revolutionary, bolshevik style, commie radical HATE.

Part of that's reserved for the Church, which they loathe and despise with luciferian intensity.

I'd argue that their visceral hatred of Putin and Russia, both of which are catholic Christian, flows naturally from their anti-christ(ian) ideology. And good point -- mega church evangelicals share in that.

Speaking of which -- I go to one of the local "cowboy church" men's breakfasts and ride and fish with some of the guys. They're big, 800 a Sunday which isn't bad for the countryside. Regardless, they're always asking me to give the "message." Last week I shared the story of Fr. Miguel Pro. (as an example of "kingship"). They loved it.

Heh.

Viva Cristo Rey!

I wish you'd tape some of your "messages." The world would benefit yuuuugly.

Adrienne, you're kind! I enjoy preaching these days, mostly without notes/text and people seem to like it.

Exposing the Baptists to Fr. Pro went surprisingly well! Mind you, what a compelling story.
