Welcome To Oz

Yes indeed, Oz, Dallas, the great Metrosprawl, home to millions and millions of people chasing the dream. Fair play, the place has filling stations, complete with crazy homeless people who squat on the sidewalk on the corner of Illinois and Zang.

It has supermarkets too, like the local Tom Thumb, which has, they tell me, an outstanding in house florist, and it has Winnetka Heights where Ma LSP lives. I tell you, the area was sketchy in the '90s when the aged ps moved in. Now? Not so much.

So here we are in the 'sprawl in a spirit of filial piety, and that's no bad thing. Thank God, and I mean that, that our family is close enough to do such a thing, but I won't bang on, you get the point. In unrelated news, it seems the USS Gerald Ford's being laid up for 14 months because of a fire in its laundry room. Huh.

On topic, 47's announced back door negotiations with elements of Persian authority who apparently want peace. No nukes for us, just peace. How awesome. You'll note there's a 5 day rider on this deal which curiously coincides with a USMC taskforce arriving in theater.

OK, if Donny Boy takes down the Mullahs all is epic forgiven. If not? Since when did any of his base vote for moar war? They didn't, they voted for the opposite and he campaigned accordingly. Wow, what a gamble. If the Persian adventure backfires then bye-bye midterms and with it a massive L to the conservative movement in the Anglosphere, Europe and beyond.

Now, I'm not a gambling man, you know this, but if you were to suggest I wager my vicious and valuable fighting monkey on such odds I might raise an eyebrow. You can imagine the scene unfolding in a bay window looking onto St. James.

"I say, devilish busy in Hormuz. Tell ye what, my dog over your dead monkey all day long." We pause and consider, "Damme, money on and twice as fast, eh?"

Just throwing it out there, do feel free to disagree, and I forgot to say. Harvard is still Satan's Vatican though far more wealthy.

Cheers,

LSP

Turns out the mullahs have intermediate range missiles that can hit most of Europe's capital cities. Likewise, they were only a couple of weeks away from assembling a dirty bomb. Therefore, I support PDJT's action and don't care if we are Israel's bitch here. If this drags on maybe my opinion changes.
As for the rest of the world that depends on oil from the Persian Gulf, let them clear and defend the Straight at their expense or pay Danegold.

The mullahs are religious zealots. Their twelfth Iman won't return until the world is engulfed in war. It is their duty to create the conditions. These are the same nutjobs who martyred their children by having them clear minefield by walking through them. Oh, WSF, you are such an ignorant bigot!

WSF, I'm with you.

Said IRBMs have the range to get to Diego Garcia. How do we know this? Because Iran launched a fistful at said Diego Garcia.

The Don could not ignore Iran anymore. Iran openly said they had 6 bombs a-making and final assembly was soon and when that happened one would go to Israel and five to the Great Satan, and 5 more close after that.

What do you do when some a-hole turd worlder says "We will, we will nuke you..."? It wasn't 'Can the Don bomb Iran?' It was 'Will we bomb in time to stop them?' That's how close we were to being nuked.

My support for the One president who has dealt reasonably, intelligently and effectively with more BS than any other in my life, while being actively opposed and sabotaged at every turn by Our Frenz across the aisle, will not be diminished.

I just hope that we have enough ammo for this grand win. More and more evidence we've been shipping missiles from other areas of operations (like THAAD from Asia and more) as THAAD production is about 10-12 per year and so on.

Since we still get our microchips from Taiwan maybe that they are less than 7 days from shutting down for lack of Middle Eastern helium critical for their manufacturing, maybe many troubles are nearby?

China has been preparing for this little proxy war for decades. Might be why they "just happen" to have a nice local supply for Taiwan's now critical need for helium, natural gas, oil and fertilizer...

Justin said the MAIN ISSUE. We are stuffed full of traitors.

As long as CONgress (spelling intentional) continues to line its pockets with campaign donations from Foreign nations we are screwed.

Read this article, spent the morning researching most of his points.

Ronald Regan "trust but verify" you know.

A small SNIP for those that don't want to read Wallstreet Jornal and such.

Trump removes sanctions on Iranian Oil

According to the figures cited by the Trump Administration, this will provide the Iranians with an unexpected revenue windfall of $15 billion just when their war efforts most needed it. Since Iranian annual military spending had only been about $8 billion, that additional money could make a huge difference.

In all my reading of history, I’d never heard of a country heavily funding its own enemy in the middle of a bitter war, but the Trump Administration has become notorious for its many political innovations.

And from Open sources, I guess military OPSEC Vs AI open source is an issue.

I DO hope that fancy super dooper Discombablator they used in Venezuela Wasn't just the usual CIA suitcases of 100 dollar bills as oddly the Cuban Security team (all 30 of them) had to be killed so I suppose they didn't get "Discombulated"...

Iran doesn't want American Dollars... Their offer wants an apology and .999 gold and lots of it for repairing the damage Israel and America did to them AND their Arab neighbors.

BTW the Arab neighbors got the some communication.

I'm with Justin and Beans on this one. Other than to add the considerable opposition and sabotage Trump has faced on the Stoopid Party side of the aisle as well.

It's my feeble understanding that the Left Fork has great promise, and then decline and destruction. Perfection remains a worthy goal that illustrates the 10/90 curve- the next 10% of improvement requires 90% more effort. Details matter, but so does the long trend.

Well it's all a great thing, Beans, and I hope 47 calls it.
