There's no rest for the wicked and so I found myself hosting our Southern Deanery and several bishops, "Should we meet at Ya Ya's?" offered one pontif, and I countered, "No, I'll provide food and we'll meet at the Compound." What did this mean?
I laid it out, "Gentlemen, it's very complex and nuanced. Start at one end, seize a plate, napkin, mustard, mayonnaise, meat, cheese, perhaps a pickle and off you go." And off they went. You'll be intrigued to know roast beef was most popular. Ham? Not so much.
At the end of it all we vowed to continue the crusade against leftist liberal atheism, so no change there then. I tell you, what a good group of men, and I don't say that lightly. In other news, you may have noticed Canada's gone full NWO Com/Cap.
Good luck, frozen North. Smart people are moving South while they still can. It's warmer here. And cheaper. Not so many solar panels, you see.

PS. Word to the wise -- if you're prepping lunch for Texan clergy buy beef, medium rare obvs.

We discovered Dukes Mayo on a trip to Tennessee in 2021 and have not looked back. Definitely the best.
Your luncheon took place on Radonitsa (Радоница - The Day of Rejoicing).
Doing the Lord's work.
We shall see whether Trump's plan to split off the mineral wealthy plains
provinces from the left Canada goes. From what I've gleaned off the various blogs and other webthingies, the aforementioned plains provinces are mighty peeved at left-wing Canuckistanolia.
As to luncheon meats, I like my roast beast on a sammich. Store-bought? Not so much. I'll choose ham over beast in that regards. Then again, I don't actually cook/cure my own ham so I do have to rely on someone else for that.
But, yes, a nice sandwich spread is hard to beat in warm weather.
"Smart people moving." Those who can, in the way of a distilling process. Who doesn't like a bit of distillate?
I think so too, DOS. Just better.
Now that, Anon, is an excellent point.
Right on, Ed. What a good bunch of guys.
It went down well, Beans. Then there's Canada. If I was Alberta I'd be less than happy subsidizing the rest of the country.
Well yes, Ritchie, yes indeed.
