Reminds me of some of the Roman Catholic services I attended in the Polish neighborhood my father came from.

Very moving...

Lovely. Amazing.
Thank you, Parson.
You all be safe and God bless.

I'd join if they made me an archimandrite (only because I like the title). The fact that my Russian is abysmally rusty may be the only thing that keeps me from making the move and taking over there.

Joking aside, it is important to listen and pay attention because the Metropolitan has his act together.

LL, perhaps you're already acting Archimandrite? Not least over the Arizona Highlands. Me? Just a simple Rural Dean. Hmmmm.

And yes, I'd say he's right on, our patriarch in Rome doesn't begin to have the clarity. I'm being very polite.

Linda, I was struck by his forthright, simple, powerful, Gospel admonition. A breath of fresh air, eh?

Bless you.

Very good point, WSF. As the Good Book says, "Store up treasure in..."

I found it so too, drjim.

And it's weird, why can't our leaders in God speak with such clarity? Well, I won't go on.

It's admirable that so many Russians kept their faith during over 70 years of godless, homicidal communism and seem stronger than ever!

Meant to add above:
while the formerly Christian West are now embracing the same godless communism as fast as they can.

Ain't that the truth, Anon. There'll be a reckoning.
