I think the left has seriously miscalculated... What goes around comes around. They apparently didn't learn that when Harry Reid made his blunder.

Two things:
1) Your assertion is correct, The Treasonous Group, aka The Cesspool, aka The Uniparty et al...needs a massive distraction to cover up their criminal activity. To them the end does justify the means...at all cost.
2) They will die first...there's a lot more of us than them, and we're more frosted over what they have been doing to wreck America and God's Providence over Her.
That said, to die a good death fighting for Him and righteousness...is honorable. Rather not, but if that's what it comes too, so be it...they started it. Yet I pray God intervenes in some fashion to avoid too much unnecessary sad collateral damage.

But bananas IS all the raycisums. Decades ago while a teenager I had occasion to meet the then Vice President of the Republic of China (AKA Taiwan). It was as part of a group of American-born teens. The VP was a cheerful and possibly slightly demented old KMT vet with one prosthetic hand (we were warned before the meeting “don’t stare at the fake hand!”). So Veep shakes all our hands then booms in his best parade ground voice, “Neemun doh shi shiao shang-jiao!” while beaming at us. (This is not pinyin, it’s as close phonetically as I can make it for a normal American speaker. Though I can’t convey the veep’s regional accent in Mandarin, alas.) I still can’t tell if he was clueless, slightly demented, or just truly didn’t give a flying [redacted], but what he said was “You are ALL little bananas!”
