I see another dog in the future of the parsonage.

Condolences, Parson.
You all be safe and God bless.

LSP,

I am sorry to learn of Blue's passing. The Lord turns grief into nostalgia and you have happy memories of a dog who was well-loved and loved you enormously in return.

When ready, I suggest you get two dogs. Twice the fun, not twice the work.

Cheers,

Lionhound

So sorry. Such a good dog. And you’re right about the yellow house.

That dog was on a mission! I humbly concur with LL.

Thanks, Jules, he was a good pup. And the yellow house was hideous, it's being given a makeover now and not before time.

That could well be the case, LL. A war dog perhaps.

Bless you, Linda.

That's very good advice, Lionhound.

Blue dog, Blue Lacy, I dunno, maybe too close for comfort, but they are the state dog of Texas. It has been said that a Lacy hound was the inspiration for Ol' Yeller.

That's a good looking dog, Wild.

Heelers, I've discovered, are kind of rough and ready but very smart with it.

Like the look of that Lacy.

Condolences. Big or small, young or old, losing a family member of whatever species is difficult.
