America's long awaited Space Force got one step closer with the establishment of Space Command (SPACECOM), announced by President Trump in the Rose Garden last week.
"It's a big deal," said Trump, "As the newest combatant command, SPACECOM will defend America's vital interests in space — the next warfighting domain. And I think that's pretty obvious to everybody. It's all about space."
Yes, all about space. Not least if you're the world's first space criminal, lesbian astronaut Anne McClain who got into her estranged wife's bank account from high orbit earlier this year. "I was shocked and appalled by the audacity," stated McClain's former wife figure, Summer Wolden.
Will the advent of SPACECOM put an end to this skulduggery and all too predictable malfeasance in the icy vacuum? We can but hope.
Ad Astra,

Let us hope the war against space is as successful as the war against weather.
Whole new dimension to the battlespace, Anon.
Does DADT apply in space? Apparently it did. It remains to be seen whether there is a SpaceTranny under the Trump DOJ.
The Men-in-Black documentaries set forth the danger from illegal space aliens and also outed aliens such as the late Michael Jackson and the current Speaker of the House of Representatives. But everyone knew that already, didn't they?
It would be pretty simple for some country to knock out all of our orbitals. This is certainly a mandatory step to be taken. So, I wonder what the X37B has been up to.. Over 900 days in space this last mission.
RHSM LL, you make several excellent points and I feel we need to review enlistment policy. First step, sort out the terrestrials, Army, Navy, Airforce. Then yes, purge SPACECOM. Apparently needed.
MIB? Prescient. Who knew the off-world enemy had infiltrated so deeply. But we're in the business of solutions. Let's start with this: Any woman that wears CARGO SHORTS a BALL CAP and a TANK TOP is automatically turned down.
We can move up from there. Suggestions?
Been thinking that too, Kid. And what else is up there?
SPACECOM
Space War - if a credible threat existed I would agree. Being rather cynical I would suggest that with Trump not bombing the crap out of anywhere on the scale of his predecessors, that it has become necessary to find ways to get the US Tax Payer to subsidize the hi-tech arms industry by other means. Space War is a fantastic way to spend billions of $, but it will not stop a suicide bomber. Unless this an especially cunning move in 5D Chess - like 'Star wars' technologically overwhelming and bankrupting an enemy by the threat of Space War - I think that this is either hyperbole or a bung or all three at the same time.
Anon, you cynic!
We must control high orbit.
