Speaking of ghastly movies and made-for-Hollywood paganism, here's The Critical Drinker's review of the new movie Midsommar. Midsommar is, of course, made by one of the usual suspects and has been praised to the skies by the likes of Salon.com and Rolling Stone. So you just KNOW that it's going to be excellent.
What a great review, Mike_C! Kinda makes me want to watch Midsomar. But have a gaze at the original Wicker Man. It's all a larf 'til you wake up in a cage and it's ON FIRE.

It may become the California State Song. Very progressive.
Never saw that film though I like Edward Woodward. Breaker Morant is well worth watching.
